Yes. Far better than it's predecessor 1.0.

"For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast,
And breathed in the face of the foe as he passed:
And the eyes of the sleepers waxed deadly and chill,
And their hearts but once heaved, and for ever grew still!"
    ~Lord George Gordon Byron

Fine, we'll compromise. I'll get my way & you'll find a way to be okay with that.

It looks pretty (one of the nicest looking mmos I've seen), but I don't see any reason I would play it over any of my current themeparks I'm already invested in.  I thought a short explanation was in order so you didn't think I was trolling.

I ordered it after phase 3 it's such a massive improvement over the game I beta tested ages ago and it runs at about twice the fps for for, I'm easily getting a solid 60fps all settings maxed out on a 7850 GPU

This order will appear on your bank billing statement as: "Square Enix Limited".

    Order #: SEE-STORE-*****
    Purchase date: 17 June 2013
Purchased products: 1 x "FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn" (PC Download)

It's just a stop gap for me though until archeage is released or I get into archeages beta

My primary issue with the beta was that it wasn't release so I could play it for real.

    So obviously, YES.

Bought the original CE, but I also wanted the new CE because the package looks so purdy. Since I now have two copies, guess I will need to find me a woman willing to make me sammiches in exchange for free FFXIV.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I believe in SE so much, and wanted to reward them for what they did with 1.0 --> ARR, I bought a PS3 collector's edition, even though I had the Digital collector's edition for the PC.
