Its going to be both for PS3 and PS4!

What I am saying is that its not here today. I dont like the idea of adding stuff on later. I like the idea of it already being in there day one like it is with Xbox One.

Sorry I just got a chuckle out of reading this....I guess you don't like PCs either? Anyway carry on.

P.S. You won't have to add cloud support to PS4, it will be as easy as signing up for it just like you would with X1.

No he doesn't like PC's lol. Read back through and you'll see that he said he would rather play Titanfall on Xbox One even though he supposedly has a gaming PC lol!

Who said you are not being responsible and thoughtful about your finances? Just because you buy a game system? LMAO

You either have no real idea of what being an adult requires, and where finances go and why you should be thoughtful of price tags, etc. This whole sentence just screams adolescent.

You talk like a person should not be able to buy a $500 game system. Is this the world you live in? If so then I feel sorry for you.

I don't think that's the case. Us Pc gamers spend more money on our Pc`s than most people on tuning their sport cars.

Money is not the issue, i simply chose the BEST hardware, with least extra baggage to bug me about it latter.

Be it consoles or PC. I have the money to spend and i love to twink my gear.

But that don't means i'm willing to throw my money away just because i can. Before i buy anything i research the product thoroughly.

I am only replying to people who post I see worthy of replying to. I don't know who all post that I did not replay to so repost if you feel it deserves a reply. I am not going to go searching for it.

Yet ignored the post on the first page which has the technical differences with the Xbox1 and PS4. You say you want a discussion, but you are lacking any objectivity. This thread was created with the intent of pushing the Xbox1 and trying to mitigate the known gaps between it and the PS4. All anyone has to do is read through this thread to see the lack of objectivity and defensive posturing going on.

I don't think there is anything wrong with you being a fan of the XBox1... Just don't hide behind pretending you are being objective. You prefer the Xbox1, that should be what this thread is about.

I already know about the Hardware. That does not intrest me at all. What I said is that I will let the games them selves speak and so far Xbox One's games are the ones that are speaking.  Did you not see Titanfall? That game alone had killed my want to play any other FPS. This is what I am talking about.

You missed my point. You are claiming to be objective yet you are clearly biased. That is perfectly fine, but don't pretend to be something you are not. You like the Xbox1 and think it is a superior system to the PS4. Your opinion is counter the the masses, which is not to say it is wrong since it is an opinion. However, you are in this thread trying to convince others that your opinion has some factual context to it and that is intellectually dishonest. Embrace your Xbox1 fanboy, but don't get defensive when others question your reasoning. This whole thread is subjective and you points are no more valid or invalid than those raised to counter them. You clearly do not want a discussion as much as you want to find like minded people to share your excitement for the Xbox1. Again, perfectly fine, but you chose the wrong venue.

There is no need to quote me, nor reply. It's true. There stock price says it in a nutshell. Microsoft used to be a great company, but they fell to the wayside by mobile gaming and companies with better ecosystems like Apple and Google. The Xbox one is a joke! And it's a joke nobody wants to spend 500 on then have to spend over 100 a year on a subscription service to play games you already paid 50-60 for. On top of that they are making you pay this subscription service to watch you cable tv unless you enjoy unhooking your xbox every time you want to switch over to cable tv. I'm not even going to buy a PS4, yet another system not worth a penny. Consoles are a dying breed, and this can be seen with mobile gaming were games cost less than 5 and are almost feature content along the lines of a console game. Hope you enjoy the XBox One or PS4 with its dwindling player base. I'm content with my PC and smartphone were I'm enjoying playing games for literally nothing. Can you say that about Xbox or PS4?

And please don't quote me, it's not that important. Just my opinion.

I wouldn't say consoles are dying! Heck people for years said PC gaming was dying but yet AMD/Nvidia kept making 800.00+ usd cards for Extreme gamers. Yeah I have a high end smart phone (Note 2) but it doesn't compare to high graphic games that i like! I even have a PC that plays most games on 1080p on high AMD Specd. But in the end there are some exclusives that are on consoles only mainly Metal Gear series, Final Fantasy (even thought the last three were horrible), Drake series, Sly Cooper, gears of War, God of War, NCAA Football, Killzone, Ratchet and Clank, Infamous, Mario, metroid, Zelda and countless others that i couldn't play on my PC.

As a gamer i will get the PS4 and WII-U ( The Wii-U after a hefty price drop) consoles. Unless M$ change their policy's and disable the kinect then the XB1 will be the first console not purchased since the NEO-GEO!

Below is where we can disscuss and come up with new ideas for Sandparks!

Who said you are not being responsible and thoughtful about your finances? Just because you buy a game system? LMAO

Well it is like this, as an adult you weigh your options and make a rational decision based on all of the factors that effect you.

In this case we are looking at the Xbox One and the PS4.

The PS4 is cheaper and has better hardware and graphics.

The Xbox One is more expensive.

The PS4 is a typical game console meaning you can buy, sell, and trade games at will with the normal restrictions.

The Xbox One tries to be a media machine that adds additional restrictions on the buying, selling, and trading of games. This actually decreases the value a bit. You can't simply sell a game on ebay, give it as a gift to a friend, trade it in, or etc. without understanding and working within these new restrictions. This actually decreases the value of the system and yet it still costs more.

The media center features don't appeal to me because I already have a PC hooked up to each TV in my house that do a great deal more than the Xbox One as far as media devices go. I have an acer that cost about $100 hooked up to my living room TV and it does everything accept play games. So... the media center functions have no appeal for me.

I have a gaming pc hooked up to the TV in my bedroom that will play almost every game on the Xbox One with the exception of a very few actual exclusives. This PC can do everything the Xbox One can and more. Again... this rules out any advantages I would gain by purchasing an Xbox One.

Sony will have a similar online cloud setup so... that isn't even a benefit.

Then there are all the other negatives such as the required internet connection even when playing single player games, the required kinect, etc.

So, in this case Sony is offering me everything I want and need out of a gaming console. The only thing that leaves Microsoft with to sway me is games.

Every game I want that will be on the Xbox One will be available on PC and or PS4 with the exception of maybe 2.

As an adult I simply can't justify to myself paying $500 or more on a console thats only going to offer me 2 games I can't get elsewhere.

The PS4 offers several games I am looking forward to (Which are available on multiple systems) and even has a few exclusives. It is $100 cheaper, has no unusual restrictions, has better hardware, offers everything a gamer needs from a gaming system and more.

As a rational adult, there really is only one logical choice.

You have stated there are 2 games you are looking forward to that are Xbox One exclusives, you've also stated you have a gaming PC.

Like I said the Xbox One prices does not matter to me because I see it as the better system. So far the games look batter for Xbox ONe and stuff like Foraz's clould AI, Quantum Break's TV Show which is made by how you play and being able to share games across the world instantly are what I see as innovation. I can play games off friends list even if I dont own 1 single game. I can also go to a friends house and log on to my account and play all my games. PS4 may do somethings tomorrow but as of today it does not intrest me.

All the Xbox One games are not coming to PC. Only 2 are slated so far and that's Titanfall and Spark.

Sony will not have similar cloud setup. Please share a link telling how there cloud will be like microsofts.

If you like Sony games then go for it. I am not telling anybody not to buy the PS4.

if the nex next  console generation will force me to use cloud ill skip it probably i dont want to HAVE to rely on cloud, now i prolly wouldnt mind it for somethings that  i have to be online for anyway say mmos  no more upgradeing my pc would be nice

Honestly the feature list of the Xbox one is like listening to someone making up an Applefid feature list without an understanding of the reasons behind any of the choices the company your trying to mimic made. Then taking that and trying to apply different settings without any appreciation for the audience or differences in the market your working in.

If Apple had a really bad day and wanted to make a console, they'd have made an Xbox One..

This looks like a job for....The Riviera Kid!

The seems like such a paid advertisement thread.. but I'll play along just in case.

I currently have signed a petition and joined a few facebook pages to Boycott Xbox One.

I have read that Microsoft has sold their privacy rights to the government(Homeland security/NSA) and that the Kinect will need to be hooked up to the "always on" feature in order for your log in to be verified. This could mean that the government would have audio and visual access to a large portion of the countries living rooms. If you take this information and combine it with the information you can find online about our Presidents stance on our privacy, well you've got quite a conspiracy theory to think about anyways..

I also do not agree with shutting down the mom and pop game stores with the inability to trade games.  Gamestop can diaf, but these local shops that sell old consoles and games will eventually have nothing to sell with the cloud system in place. The corporations and the stockholders already make enough money off of us as it is, why do they need to make more?

Xbox one is just the perfect example that with Capitalism, the rich will always get richer at the expense of the less fortunate.

Ps4 on the other hand is doing things the way they should be..atm at least. I dislike Sony quite a bit, but for now, if I do buy a console, it will be a PS4, a Wii U, or nothing.

The first two Google results for "PS4 Cloud Processing" how hard was that?

So essentially Sony is leaving it up to the developers to use the cloud however they see fit if they want to use the cloud to run some of the processes in their games they can go right ahead.

Ps4 on the other hand is doing things the way they should be..atm at least. I dislike Sony quite a bit, but for now, if I do buy a console, it will be a PS4, a Wii U, or nothing.

The Kinect does not have to be always on. This is also in the link to the IGN Xbox One Wiki

Well it does not have to be "On" but it does always have to be plugged in so the government could still spy on you if were going to go down that route. Look at that Middle School who turned on the students' laptop cameras even though they had them off to spy on the children.

The "digital media" makes no difference. Xbox Live is not Steam, nor is the box truly digital considering you can still buy "physical discs"

The harddrive is too small too truly be all "digital" considering the next generation of games is looking to be upwards of 60 GB or so.

Its called a 2TB USB hard drive and you always have the cloud.

Ugh... even USB 3.0 caps out around 60MB/s with the processors they're going to be using, I have an I7 and my USB 3.0 though it does hit 60+ sometimes usually hovers around 30MB/s, so with mandatory installed games a USB hard drive would be an absolute nightmare.

The PS4 has cloud computing support available to the developers. It's just the Gaikai service that will come later.

What does that have to do with PCs? Please post a link telling how developers will use cloud computing with PS4. Been waiing on that one for a while now.

Yup it sure can do cloud computing! Anything else youd like to point out what M$ can do that sony can't.......?

We already stated that Sony bought a cloud service but show me something from developers going in detail saying how this will effect there game.

Forcing a person to connect to the internet at least once every 24 hours isn't going to fly. I work out of town, sometimes for a few weeks at a time.If I come home, put my feet up,turn on my Xbox One and have to spend the next 30+ min confirming my account or what have you, I'd rather not even bother with the system.

The XB1 is not leaps and bounds ahead of it's competition, therefore it does not warrant the extra effort involved with keeping it up to date. It brings nothing new to the table. There is little in the way of "OMG I MUST HAVE THIS" that set's it apart from the other consoles (for your average consumer). The father that buys a console for his kids isn't going to worry about any cloud, nor will they care about digital vs physical. It's for his kids so the price will have to be right and with the XB1 it isn't.

You don't know what cloud is do you?

Also, how can you play games of your friends list if you don't own a single game, that is bullshit, you can only play a friends games if they log into their account on your machine, you are part of their 10 family group, or if after 30 days of being a friend they decide to give you the game.... but that can only be done once.

Your posts are starting to sound just like some form of presentation or conference, just spouting random nonsense.

It says right in the article the developers can use the cloud for whatever they wish which means they can do the exact same things the Xbox developers are doing just because no game is using them means nothing... also I think that crappy looking racing game The Crew mentioned something about cloud processing on both consoles I don't want to waste my time with those interviews but feel free to dig through them if you want to.
