Age of Wushu: First Expansion Announced

During E3 2013, Snail Games revealed the first expansion to Age of Wushu. Called "Mount Hua", the expansion will feature new playable classes including the Eastern Heretic, Western Venom, Southern Emperor, Northern Beggar, and the Central Divine.     It is much needed to add more to the game, but there are so many other things they really need to get a handle on before worrying about new content, ie.) Bots, hackers, laggy servers.  Still can't get over the fact that the North American version's servers are hosted in the U.S. but runs at 300-500 ping consistently.  If they game would improve the most basic qualities of an online game, it would do a lot better.

    Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.

    Awesome news, late but awesome ;)

     

    Adding more systems to the most system rich game I've played in years. It's gonna be hard to get away from this one. I keep saying "until something better comes out," but the game has no competition at the moment, in terms of freedom and things to do. Nothing in the next 6 months either.

    Need more info on the "classes" Wushu doesn't have classes, or a trinity for that matter. It has schools. Fundamentally  schools are closer to factions imo, even though there are not dev created factions in Wushu.

    wushu have classes some schools are better at healing some are better at tanking some are great buffers

    Seems kinda early for an expansion already......WOnder if they held back some content so they could release an early expansion?

    Right now anything that pushes this game closer towards the CN versions client is a good thing.

    People should not get too confused about this news. The Expansion is not "new" it's already been up in China for some time. All the money that they are recieveing from us over here in the US is not going to any real improvements to the game directly.

    Most things have been in stone for the last 3 years. We are just playing catch up with our version of the game. They won't be Westernizing any mechanics in the game on that level because again it's already said and done. Finished product just waiting to be leaked over to us on this side of the waters.

    Don't fall under the impression that AoW in the NA is a growing game, the game is already matured to a point several years down the line. We are getting what the Chinnese players have already gone through, the bugs, the exploints, the Cash Shop items, everything was set in order before the game came over here.

    So yea, this is an expansion but really it's more of a client update to the game we have here. No ideas, complaints that we have had are in these expansions nor will they be in any more we recieve in the future. I'm sure most who have been playing already know this, but those out of the loop..

    Yea don't be fooled by silly marketing tactics..

    PM before you report at least or you could just block.

    Don't even waste your time on this game anymore.  A whole bunch of accounts just got hacked in the most recent patch and Snail isn't issuing any refunds or trying to even give back your in game items/gold and they simply say that it is the Users fault for not having a better password and protection for themself.
