Seriously, there's not even a reason to buy that over sized $500.00 T.V. remote called an Xbox: ONE.

Maybe for you but for me yes. Killer instinct(xbox only), Dead rising 3 mmo (only on xbox), Titan Fall (only on xbox) and HALO 5.

499.99$ is nothing when the ps3 came out at 600$ and my 4g gtx 680 cost 550 alone so don't bug me one bit.

Titanfall is made for both XBOXes  AND PC.

Yes good point. I m with you, I could play this type of game over any MMO out atm. Looks like the PS4 is the one to get for sure. Have the PS3 and prefer it over XBOX 360 anyways, I figured I would stick with PS as I don t like the look of the XBOX at all.

But you haven't even seen the look of the PS4 what if it looks dumb then what? I don't why anyone would choose a console by its looks. I look at the software and what it can do. Ps4 has a bit more power but not enough to make a huge difference in game play or GFX. I choose by games and controller and I love the xbox controller.

I understand and agree, I just prefer the PS3 over the XBOX360 by a lot. Gave mine away when I had both, PS3 was just better. PS4 sounds a lot better from what info we have so far to me.

I agree with you too. When it comes down to it, its personal choice and I like what I see with xbox one but I might get both if I like what I see here when sony starts showing us what they have.

Yeah think they both might since they're both on x86 chip sets. I'm so glad they both went this way. Much easier on the dev's

But you wont play games with it. They will use the same argument as the ps3. They don't want to have people left out since it will result in people with mouse+kb having an edge. PS3 you could hook up your mouse and keyboard from day 1 and I bet the PS4 won't be different.

This game is simply amazing...its being played on PS4

Hmm I don't see a massive scale here (100s of players non-instanced) nor do I see it being a massive open world. Seems like a small group game to me.

Looks good, but its easier to make it look awesome when you take massive out of the equation and don't have to scale the engine for 50+ players on the same screen.

So I can't say I am excited for this, its not my type of game, but I am glad to hear that it appeals to some.

This games features are no different than what I'm experiencing with Defiance right now. Sure defiance can have massive amounts of players in a single area. However, at the moment I typically run solo and run into 3-4 other people within the game that's not doing Arkfalls.

Sure the game's lagging a bit a points but if this game is available for PC many of us will easily be able to handle the requirement.

You cannot be serious. Defiance has an engine that supports 50+ players and many NPCs in frantic action all on the same screen - and it plays smooth even on old hardware of PS3 and 360!

I'd love to see Division engine run Defiance type scenario - on a PS4.... not gonna happen.

I prefer Defiance gameplay, because it is fast even during a packed Siege with 100 afflicted and 50+ players its as smooth as butter.

I doubt that Division could pull that off, I actually know that it can't, as the game was not designed to support that type of gameplay. You have to sacrifice "massive" for visuals, its a tradeoff.

I actually talked to the engineer (Twain) who coded Defiance's engine (he also coded WoWs engine, hell of a nice guy) and he designed the engine to handle a large number of players on PC, Xbox and PS3 - and that was done like 5 years ago. Sure he could have designed it to look 10x better but only support 5 players on screen.

Yeah, Well if you think the 50+ players on the screen is stable for the PC version of Defiance. Then you're smoking something strong because I see roughly 30 at a time and people pop in and pop out frequently during Arkfalls.

I also can't stand the whole shooting fish in a barrel mechanic. Defiance is extremely dull and from what I've seen from Division it looks good graphically and I hope the gameplay is great overall too; because of the lack of quality in Defiance.

I'm sorry to say this but the quality in his companies work doesn't show it. The game's completely buggy at best and the poly count is horrible.

I think it's funny when I can see the individual polygons in a characters head like this.

Almost all questions like this can be answered with one word. MONEY

The money is with the consoles. We can all thank F2p for that. PC games have to go f2p to get people to even try them out anymore.  Look at your local pc gaming geniuses Blizzard even they are jumping ship - see D3

Consoles use the good ole method of advertisement to generate buzz and sell stuff.

PC games have taken the Casino approach. The casino hopes that gambling addict comes in and blows his/her paycheck. Likewise f2p hopes to snag that gaming addict to blow his or her paycheck on their pay to win cash shops. It's a huge turn off and it's why when I finally quit playing WoW I will sell my pc and not look back.

    Congratulations f2p!!!

Its fine that you don't like gameplay in Defiance its a casual shooter game that doesn't take itself too seriously, nor does it appeal to all.

Division is a tactical combat game - we are comparing apples and oranges here. I dislike tactical combat games - so we all get to play something we like.

But its silly to compare a visually great looking tactical combat game on a PS4 to a MMO casual shooter game that runs on last gen consoles.

Oh you're absolutely right, it's completely wrong to compare an MMO based on the compare which should be years ahead of hardware components and content that'll be produced on the PS4. Defiance is indeed a casual shooter and is played like one. I have racked up many hours in the game. But that's not to say that I can't voice my concern for the lack of quality being put into a company like Trion. Who supposedly prides themselves on very high quality content.

Yet here we have a game like Division which is made for the PS4 (hopefully for PC aswell). Yet the game looks stunning. Yes it does look more tactical than Defiance. Which is what's appealing to me; I can use some brain power in the game rather than just mindlessly running and gunning.

You should always expect more from gaming developers and I myself find it's down right lazy when I see the lack of quality that came out of Defiance.

Dev's have said on multiple interviews that it will be 100% solo-able.  It is going to fall into the same pitfall as defiance has.  Being a online game where you see other people running around, 1) never talk to them (2) have zero reason to socialize (3) has zero community.

It is still interesting to see a game like this , it shows us what can and should be done graphics wise for new Gen mmo's but instead we get wildstar or eqn which i doubt will look anything as good as this if itd using planetside 2 engine

Trion and ArenaNet have some pretty great offerings out there.  If The Division makes you think ill on all those companies, perhaps MMORPGs aren't the genre you want?

It might be staged, as in who they are fighting is choreographed, however it is still in game footage showing gameplay and graphic which look amazing.

Quit worrying about other players in a game and just play.
