can anyone explain the ad to me?

i get the super metal reference. i grew up listening to metal.

 

i don't, however, get the cactus reference.

    Considering what's been up here the last two months....I was kind of expecting the cactus to be wearing a bikini of some type.

    A lot of Asian games have you fighting cactus men, not metal, but dragons are always far more metal , in comparison.

    If they can't even make a cohesive advertisement, I worry that their game will make sense. I work in marketing so I understand that it's two different departments, but it certainly shows what kind of thought is (or isn't) going on there.

    I think I can explain this ad.

    This ad is why you don't let the bosses 15 year old design the ad because the boss thinks they are really talented!!!!

    It was... well... IMO it just didn't have the quality to keep me entertained greater than an hour.  YMMV.

    Not surprised the ad is confusing... it was designed by Napoleon Dynamite... he originally wanted a Liger but it had too much magical powers to be #supermetal
