You can fly in other games too (even the more popular ones). However you get banned in them for doing so. AV bans players as well.

The very fact that there are cheaters, is the thing.

I've never seen cheaters in a MMO outside of a dupe glitch, botting maybe, and such things. Yet if I go to Darkfalls forums, I see people flying, speed hacks(In a MMO?!), people noclipping through objects to get to areas you aren't supposed to. I even saw one video if a user who had infinite HP.

AV just seems to be really bad at dealing with cheaters. You see less of them in a F2P Korean FPS like Warrock.

Nope. I never played UO, I dabbled in EQ though, and pretty much every MMO since then I've tried, be it F2P, P2P, Western, Asian, ect.

And never, ever, have I seen things like I see in Darkfall.

Post me examples of other such MMOs with issues, such as people fying, invincibility, speed hacks, ect.

The cheating is all but non-existant, haven't seen a single hacker and nor has any of my clannies, alliance members or friends in the game. Biggest non-issuee of all time.

That's been my experience as well. That does not mean that the people getting killed by hackers do not have a valid beef though.

Defiance MMO has a huge aimbot problem. Google it.

And yeah Darkfall has its run of the mill cheaters. They are trying at least to catch them all. I saw a group get by for 2 weeks, they finally got all 3 of them this week.

Yet still there are a few cheaters still trolling the global chat.

Want more proof? google eq2 dual core speed hack. Was rampant when eq2 introduced pvp server ruleset. It's the reason i quit eq2 pvp servers early on.

So, you admit the problem lies in free form combat mechanics. As I've not seen any of these things in MMO's without action combat.

Vindictus didn't have these issues, Tera didn't.

Seems only half-assed MMO's have these problems.

As for the EQ2Dual Core Speed hack, everything related to that I see as an unintentional bug that only affected AMD CPU's, not Intels, and could be fixed by a AMD patch.

So...yeah.

Its not just evil eyes btw, Its any mob thats in one of those dungeons you glitch through the geometry to get to.

If it is true I do hope they get banned but it's also been said that any non-implemented dungeon has been removed from under the world. Therefore pointing to the possibility this was a beta screenshot before the geometry fix.

The korean market is filled with F2P titles & low quality products. They're used to knowing how to "lock down" their client side stuff so cheating isn't possible.

That, or they invest HEAVILY into heavy-duty anti-cheat measures for their MMO products.

I don't know about these days, but I know for a fact that these things and more were possible in EQ if you either paid for the service or were even a little savvy with programming. The source to do this was available to all.

I would link the proof but I fear that may be ban-worthy (can't tell these days what is and isn't).

I agree and hope so very much. At the very least hopefully bring this to attention will get the GM's to check those feats and confirm. Then it can be put to rest.

Honestly it's not about which games can or can't be hacked, they all can be hacked, it's just which games are capable of detecting and banning said hackers in a feasible time frame, and so far AV had done a pretty damn good job (unlike DF1)
