This is the last straw, if you are so hungry for money you are willing to accept these ads being displayed. I'm off.
If these ads are still here within a week I'm deleting my account and I'll never visiting this site again.
I have to be ready to alt-f4 at all times just so my girlfriend will not think I'm a fucking pedophile.
Please do not hype any gam.. oh wait, nevermind... forgot what forum I was on.

My tip to the OP. Just use adblock with ghostery (to disable some part of the tracking) so mmorpg.com can get the message that this kind of crap wont be tolerated by some partt of the community. When mmorpg.com makes a good stance i for one will unblock the site from my browser-setup.
edit: and mmorpg.com has made their stand about the ads.
MikeB : As I stated in another thread, we've already worked with Aeria Games to cover up the ads a bit more. As far as I understand, the ads as they are now will remain.
And by blocking a sites ad you are taking away a small portion of their income. And that is not good if you want to contribute to the community in a small and tinny way.
And my GF is just the same as the OPs. Just shaking her head and mutter something about geeky nerds and their creepy way to sexualise the female population. And for ME its freaking contra produtive now when Im trying to lure her into my hobby so we can play togheter - insteed of her pwning me in bf3.

My girlfriend asked me what's this game on ads and we went trough screenshots and concluded it's overblown advertising for a game targeting 15 year olds
so I doubt your gf would think that about you just because of some ads on a gaming site which has to get their money somehow. Also, I'm using adblock until those ads are gone because they're irritating as hell.

If you cant explaine to your girlfriend in 30 seconds less, they are ads, I fear for the long term prospects of your relationship. There is a chance for it though since you are dropping the site in favor of her.

He can voice his opinions and get everyone in this world to wear a bag, but still, there are some people in the world that do not go into a tantrum someone shows a bare ankle.
I could care less, I am happily married, my wife KNOWS the world revolves around sex, otherwise we wouldn't be here in the first place, and she knows how marketing works and chuckles when she sees this stuff, but even more when she sees people are going full emo when they see artwork with manga girls in it when those same people are proudly sending their kids into wars.
BTW: I trust my wife and she does the same with me, she knows I am not a pedophile.

I doubt that's your reasons. Most people would have no problems communicating why they are there. Maybe you are offended because they turn you on in some way, when they shouldn't.

Oh, we have good discussions, but I don't have to be afraid that some xxx-rated ad might pop up when I visit any random site and she goes ballistic thinking I am a perverd.
And these ads are not even x-rated.
And yes, I am having fun with this entire charade, because that's what it is, threatening to delete your forum account and because you do not like a certain picture.
I am surprised that certain Rights-groups haven't jumped on this yet and taken it to their goverments.

It definitely does seem like it's more a relationship issue than an ad issue.

How to properly configure adblock for this site? When I try it on the main page (I'm using chrome), it either doesn't work, or it blocks the entire page, leaving a grey/black page with nothing visible at all.
I just installed adblock, never been using it before. Seems to work fine on other sites, like blocking ads in youtube vids, etc.

That gets you all the sb adds. Click on addblock then options then customize and put these in your customer filters and bam no more sb adds.
Message the admins if you have a problem with the ads. Do that and ad block to get your point across.
I honestly think the OP is a "seed" but if well. Seriously, if they can take a game like SB and get people to actually talk about it I have to tip my hat to them.

I really don't see whats so bad about them. Yeah they a blatantly Sex adds but i don't really see them as children. Maybe i don't see it because im a girl so whatever.
I think you should have a sitdown with your girlfriend and explain exactly what shes being offended by. They are ad's, does she get angry when you go to any other site that is showing a woman in a bikini that talks about weight loss. If it really bothers you that much. Bring up the site and show her specifically what site it is, What Game its for, and that No your not browsing kiddie porn.
