kickstart backers outside the US ?

in Camelot Unchained

when i tried to back it up i got a message that its only availiable in the US.

is this true or i did something wrong? did anyone outside the US manage to donate?

    Yeah I do wonder if the whole payment exclusively over amazon.com is killing a lot of potential backers in EU. At least in Germany nobody uses credit cards, really nobody. This means most germans (there are probably very few people who happen to use a credit card) wont found anything on kickstarter as they are simply unable to do so.

    You can pledge to kickstarter using a debit card, I pledged to Elite using my debit card, I do not own a credit card.

    You must be doing something wrong.  Contact KS.  I know plenty of EU people have pledged.

    yea i would have thought this would have been an option for people...not having a debit card for banking...like wtf...do people keep their money in a sock or something?

    Im from Australia, i paid fine, but we use mainly visa and mastercard which is linked to US stuff....but our banks dont issue eftpos cards much anymore, everyone is a debit card.

    i tried with a visa debit card. amazon.com said US only.

    ill do it via paypal then...

    Maybe it's an Amazon issue? I'm registered on amazon.com and .co.uk and used the .com (US) one for backing, it goes there automatically. Worked fine. KS defaults to amazon.com so maybe.
