For the final time, Rob Lashley sits down for quality game time with the Dark Age of Camelot team in this week's Wayback Wednesday. See what they did to wrap up this epic series and then head to the comments to chat.

This past year the partnership with Wayback Wednesday and Mythic brought a new dialogue between the players and the DAoC developers that had not existed for a long time. We learned things from Mythic surrounding the history and development of DAoC that we either did not know, or had long been forgotten.

    Um, with all due respect, the DAoC developers are Matt Firor and Marc Jacobs.  You can find them in Elder Scrolls Online and Camelot Unchained.  Nothing has "developed" in Dark Age for years...we asked for Origins...we got crickets.

    And it's called, "Molvik."  Not Mordred, which is a closed FFA pvp server.  SIgh.

    No mention of Camelot Unchained, coming out by Mark Jacobs?

     

    And no, it's not F2P. They still have about 50,000 subs, good for it's age.

    Like MK and Comaf said, If you want to play a game by Mark Jacobs check out Camelot Unchained. DAOC may not be getting any love anymore but the original creator wants take the DAOC RvR and build on it, Three way RvR with Minecraft like crafting system build anything anywhere and burn down your enemies creations!

    Some of you make it sound like he single-handedly creating the awesome that was DAoC.

    I think it's a little tacky coming in here, trying to steal what little media attention DAoC still receives for your own agenda.  But, I know you all are excited so, it is what it is. =)

    I miss DAoC. No other game did PvP (RvR) as good as they did. Although with ArcheAge coming out that looks to have a lot of elements that DAoC wanted but the technology just wasn't there yet.
