This is my personal opinion, if you don't care of it, please us the ignore list. If you think I'm a sick pervert (i'm female btw.) Ask me if I care then use the ignore list..
Through a "FREE AP DEAL" I signed up to an on-line casino, deposited US$10.00 and got $40 of AP (4214) for the trouble.
I bought the 'underware unlock'. Sure it shows nice breasts (nippys included) but in the pubic area it showed "fish scales" (kinda appropriate LOL) and all the way up the anus area. I had a better view of my backside wearing my lvl 5 suit.
The game is rated 'M' 17+ and they censor this?
There is a game called 2nd Life that is also rated 'M' 17+ and has actual pornography with avatars copulating. Sex videos in full view and avatars being more than 'anatomically correct' , hell, you can even BUY (for in game currentcy) a very realistic male or female genital area..Now if it (2nd Life) was rated XXX I could understand why SB is censored..
But they have to hide this in SB? Its obvious the "M" 17+ rating allows much more.
If they are selling sex they should not do it half-way

Athena, without saying anything harsh, I would highly recommend you to post your concerns about lack of nudity in your game on the game forums. It's highly unlikely you will find lots of support for your cause on these forums, since we actually play games for fun.

I am not sure what you want to imply. This game is originally intended and advertised to sexually arouse people.
So if people with those wishes actually play it, of course they should be allowed to speak their minds about it.

Actually, the proportions of females in SB aren't to my liking. It's more like an ideal some centuries ago where a hip indicated how well a woman most likely is able to give birth and withstand birth complications and so on...

Athena, all I meant to say is: on mmorpg.com you will most probably get flamed/trolled and will only get one serious reponse out of 99 troll ones. By fun I meant competitive gameplay, storytelling, etc. The percentage of players who share your view of this game on this specific forum is so little that you will simply (once again, most probably) not enjoy this conversation.
That's why I recommended you to post this on Scarlet Blade's official game forum where you will quite surely get much more support from community.

Without letting societal brain wash and "morality" (everyone, PLEASE think of the children!) get in the way of logical thinking, I very much agree with the premise you have described. If a game is centered around selling sex, and a game is appropriately rated to represent this, it is indeed a folly of them to try and censor the game for the younger crowd that does not fit the age warning recommendation.
That said, they are likely trying to attract the younger crowd, and the rating itself was probably a nuisance as a whole that was forced onto them by legal means, with their ultimate mindset gauged to attracting the younger audience this game is not (by society's standards and perhaps government regulations) suited for. This will naturally attract people who bring their upbringing and culture into discussion.
Those who cling to objectivity and know that the world is made up of very different cultures who all have different beliefs, if you look at this from the stand point you expressed I would concur whole heartedly with your evaluation. As a player, if you are drawn into a world based on specific merits, you expect those to present and uncensored whether it is through gore or suggested nudity. It is a disappointment to those who expect this to be then brought down by the limitations of another gaming system, the age group they are aiming for, the rating they may have been forgiven, and sadly the limited thinking power (in terms of thinking outside the box, and not viewing one's own culture to be the superior one in the world) of the majority of the populace who may be against something as a whole.
I'm very much reminded of people attacking games for violence and sex in the media we see today. I'm also reminded of the whole 1st world and third world arguments people say and how "our" society is more "cultured" and "refined" despite the massive amounts of problems we have that hunter gathering societies do not. In that, I must say that I am sorry for anyone who attacks you based on your preferences, as in my opinion they may be rather shallow minded; it's not their fault, but their culture has grabbed hold of their senses and many will seem to forget what they may shout in other threads (such as everyone has different likes and dislikes) and just let what they think is taboo get in the way of reason.
If it is something that you find silly or detrimental to whatever reason you enjoy a game (or one of the reasons), then it is perfectly okay to just stop playing on those merits, or to call them into question. It isn't a game that I've personally tried yet, though I have seen a few reviews and videos on the internet out of curiousity to how far the advertisements do justice to the game play (for good or ill thought if someone is easily offended to what society has told them is not proper).
I appreciate the definition, but I alredy know this place is full of trolls (I think my signup states 2009) I only reacently started posting on the forums here. I'm also playing GW2 to get my gamplay,story fix etc. I am in SB for one reason..T&A!
As for enjoying the conversation, anyone that wants to troll, ask like a childish rude pig can say hello to the others on my ignore list.

Alas I have search for a texture mod but no one seem to know how to modify the propriatory .gfpk files that hold not only the textures but the 3D animation. I wouldn't mind a mod that changes only MY avatar and gave them what every girl is proud of. I'm sure as SB gains popularity someone will come out with a 'mod' to replace textures.
OR Aeria will bring out a 'unlock' pack and grab peoples money for those that want the full monty.
