    WHy would anyone want a game shut down? What do I have to gain by having a game I don't play shut down? Instead I would rather have EA and perhaps SOE banned from making anymore mmo games.

    none of those games deserve to shut down. However, They all need to improve and break the cycle of being generic. Obviously GW2 started to breake that cycle. Someone else (and them as well) has to continue further breaking that cycle

     

    For some reason i feel that the OP threw Scarlet Blade in there just for people to vote for it.

    Why the hell would you want a game shut down?  Even all the "haters" of certain games, guess what?

     

    IT'S NOT HURTING YOU IF YOU DON'T PLAY IT.  Just ignore it... how hard is that?

    Such first world problems.   Some kid somewhere is praying for a drink of water and we're worried about what "GAME" that has nothing to do with us if we dont' play it, should be shut down.

    I'm going with other/none.Even though some title's have a low player base,I don't like to see closure's as that usually mean's people losing job's and I don't like to see that.It also take's away from our choice's and I like choice's :)

    Someone else's happiness does not affect me. if the game remains profitable because they have enough players enjoying themselves then so be it I'm not that miserable of a peron. Especialy so miserable to wis anyone to lose their jobs, i you don't have a job might lose your home food car/ w/e you hold dear you wouldn't care what job you got as long as it payed the bills even if its for scarlet blade and thats why i don't care if it sticks around. 

    If a game fails let it to it on its own merits but I don't hope any game fails I might hope some CEO's of certain companies get fired or arrested for fraud though ;)

    Well, Why not DAOC, DF, DFUW, and many other pvp games?

    None of them. There are plenty of players who enjoy them and they should be able to play them as long as possible.

    I saw this more as a "what is your least favorite game here?" poll, because honestly I don't want any game to shut down as long as people are enjoying it.

    If people are playing these games they most probably enjoy them so WHY would you want them to shut down?  Because YOU don't like them? Why would shutting down one game be needed to "make room" for another?

    I'm not that shallow or vindictive a person to want any game to have to close down no matter how poor I might think the game may be. If people are playing and enjoying it, well who the fuck am I to stop them?

     

    I'm totally opposed to the upcoming TESO because I don't agree with the direction it's going in but there are plenty of people here who are looking forward to playing it, and good luck to them. I hope they have a blast playing it and I hope the game succeeds so they get to play for as long as they want.

     

    I've been on the recieving end of a game shutdown, twice in fact, and I can tell you this, it sucks. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

    I really dont want to see any game get shut down. I would like to see some upcoming games make some different choices oh how i hope everquest next is good lol.

    Pretty well anything made in the last 5 years. It's been all crap for the most part. That's being kind.
