your post reminds me of something i saw about Avatar, how the blue creatures (never saw it , dont know the name) had features that were known to elicit subconscious feeelings of sympathy - things like proportionally large eyes and small mouth, like an infant has.
I think humans are almost always the most played race (or species). I would guess that Dominion will have a more varied spread of people playing humans, robots, and demons. Exiles will be mostly humans and humans with animal ears and tails. Of course, this is all until the final races are announced.
I agree with anyone thinking the boulders will be least played.
As for the bait about Elins vs Aurin, I'll bite... Aurin LOOK more like adults than Elin even if "lore" says Elin are 100 years old... so, no, I don't expect the same complaints about furries in WildStar.
Exiles are my first choice, but I am not a fan of humans wearing animal halloween costumes, so I will probably choose Granok or the last race... humans only if necessary to fit the class I want to play.
These are my opinions and do not invalidate your excitment to play Aurin, Humans, or any other race. Yes, I'm a bit snarky about the Aurin, but it's all in good fun.
I hope the Exiles have a Robot race. Otherwise I may have to roll dominion for the Mechari... loving that character model (I'm a sucker for robots, what can I say?).
