This game's main sell point is the female characters' design and the other sexy things like the artworks. While I cannot deny that, I can tell you that the gameplay itself is not that bad. It's mediocre, but it feels like RF Online. There's a faction war like 12sky2. And the skills' visuals are quite neat. Overall, it's enjoyable. I had a good time with the community there too, at least in CBT. The age restriction doesn't let those brats get in, which is good. I didn't have to worry about childish chat in area/shout. If I have to point the flaw in this game, probably not in the game but in aeria games itself.
If you're okay with the character design (and you're on the right age), you may want to give it a try. I personally see the "tits and ass" as a bonus, not the main content. If I were to seek for "tits and ass", I better go find some prawn instead, not this game. This game has no pr0n content or whatsoever. this game is a horrible downgraded version of dragona online. the only reason i even try out this game is boobs. yeah you can call me whatever you like but at least i am looking at something beautiful rather than blood and gore. but that is not what i wanted to say, in dragona online at least the main story line had voice acting upto certain point of the game, this game doesn't have any voice acting to begin with. dragona online has no faction, so every class does the same story content, in scarlet balde there are 2 faction but both faction starts at same region, do same quests, interact with same npc, everything is same except in quest description the faction name changes Royal GuardsFree Knights. so their "epic" storyline is complete BS. pvp is same as dragona online, if we queue as group some of the group member gets left behind and others enter to even out the number bnetween faction and as soon as we enter bg the group disbands and all the players find themselves inside bg as stray dogs, not enough time to form a proper party before match starts. the pvp maps and their objectives are same as dragona online except the look. and i can keep going about all the horrible flaws liveplex just copy pasted into Scarlet Blade from Dragona. it seems like the only selling point of this game is boobs. which is a big disappointment, whoever designed the game is a moron. and as far as the publisher AGE goes, well they are still the same as always, outdated server equipment resulting laggy server, players from SEA suffers constant lag freeze whether we are fighting or just running around, even players from europe; countries like germany or netherlands; suffers huge like like 250-300msec, this part of AGE has never changed. the 1st game i played from AGE was their flagship shaiya, i dropped it because of it's heavily pay2win design and on top of that lagfreeze, then i tried EE when it 1st came out in 2011 and left in less than a month because of same reason and also constant announcement spam that made the lagging even worse, it is 2013 now and that lag is still here along with constant announcement spam. bad game with bad publisher, more than enough reason for me to not look at obt.

actually this game is set on a parallel world to original queen's blade anime+manga, liveplex made a deal with the anime publishers to use the name and it is also not the 1st queen's blade game that was developed outside japan. but as you have said queen's blade has a story and a very good one, i even consider it the best fantasy rpg like anime+manga, if only they would cut off too much boobs and sex sales. but this particular game has no story or whatsoever. terrible.

There was a huge moral outcry here and AoC eventually censored a lot of things. Already the launchversion toned down things a lot, like the girl you save on the beach in the tutorial, she was a lot more interested in the player in the beta version.
AoC do indeed play a lot on sex but it is not the main point of the game. Scarlett blade on the other hand seems to focus everything on it. There are actually realistic and covering armors in AoC and as a player you can choose to wear them instead of chainmail bikini.
In SB and TERA there doesnt seems to be that choice, and that is bad. I am not against sexy clothes in MMOs as long as any player also can choose to wear something more sensible.

Not necessarily. An item mall game needs people to hang around for long enough to buy stuff from the item mall in order to make money. Just getting a bunch of attention and a bunch of people to download and play the game briefly isn't enough if you can't convert a substantial fraction of them into paying customers.
If all that you're selling is sex, then you'll get the attention of a lot of people for a short period of time, but not necessarily a long period of time. Porn movies are far less likely to have viewers want to watch the whole thing to see how it ends than other types of movies that actually try to have a compelling plot.
There's also the economic argument that if there were a ton of money to be made by selling games like this, we'd probably see a lot more of them. Porn is far more prevalent in a number of other types of media. Aeria is even getting a lot of publicity precisely because this is unusual for an MMORPG; porn in other types of media commonly doesn't have that marketing advantage.

Basically, it allows you to make that armor not show up on your character in the world.
Game kinda sucks anyway, and the female player chars look hideously deformed with those body proportions. Its bascally just a lame wow-clone with girls with big tits. The girls with big tits is about the only thing scarlet blade has going for it, the rest of the game is pretty shitty and generic. The human chars also look like they are made of plastic and move like it too. I'd say don't waste your time, there are lots of other way better mmorpgs out there, Aeria has a few even.

Your guess is correct I tried it after Bill's column (for the lolz) and it's just a plain, average mmo, nothing new or interesting.
