or just an "older" version with more features? this looks way more impressive than what is currently in the game, current version seems to be dumbed down compared to this

    That video was uploaded in Sept. 2011 which was around the time that the galaxy map was first put up on the website.It's still on the website. Try harder.

    The video uploaded used an overflow exploit to inject the wrong date as it was being submitted.  It's a very effective tactic for hiding leaked videos.

     

    Good find!  Zooming around the galaxy looks pretty cool.  Plus the planets are all nearly tagged.

    It was  uploaded on Sep 30, 2011, so it's pretty old.

    Hmmm that you can pick a different ship from menu and browse planets... it's suspicious... unless it is just inside video of how devs work on it... do you think they already had something in mind that long time ago and just placed it on a backseat?

    looked like an old alpha build version, didn't know there was some fancy website "tool" to view the star map.

    guess what, if they are working on a space sim they probably started 2010 or earlier

    Yep it's still on website... and you can interract with it... so it was created for that purpose... bummer :)

    It's not from in game. It's from the official website.

    Remember before launch when one of the "trusted" websites would accidentally blow the story a day earlier than they were supposed to .. yeah..  waiting 'til tomorrow .. /twiddle

    Hence why rumours on a website should be taken with a very heavy grain of salt.

    Is it me, or do the buttons and background animations (comets and asteroids zooming by) look more like something from Spore?  The galaxy button (which looks like a hurricane/spiral looking object) looks like a dead ringer to that game.

    Looks like any other spiral galaxy to me.

    Thats from the old swtor website.  The proyect is still running and in development, but is a super secret so far and there is nothing leaked about it yet.
