LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity.
I am, usually on the sandbox .. more "hardcore" side of things, but I also do just want to have fun. So lighten up already
Same here.
I know a lot of avid PvPers hate the idea of 'factions', rather than full on PvP, but I find that factions do provide a lot more 'incentive' to fight. Faction pride is a pretty strong emotion. I hope they allow faction PKing with penalty. Also, OWPvP doesn't necessarily NEED objectives, like bases or towers to capture, as long as they made the act of KILLING the opposing faction WORTH IT. Make it worth it to go out into OW and reward solo players with plenty of PvP XP and if grouped, less.
Wildstar looks cool but I just hope it isn't killed by World of Warcraft itemization stupidity and making BG/Arena grinding the only viable way to get 'PvP XP.'
Here's the video (thanks MikeB for allowing embedding!)
If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.
That is pretty much the exact reaction I had. I wasn't even going to give this game a chance, but after seeing the multitude of videos... and it being sci-fi (with some fantasy elements) with a sense of humor... plus all the other stuff I want in an MMO, I believe I found the game I will be playing next.
