Disabled region for Neverwinter Beta: New York ???

in Neverwinter

I tried to register for an account for the Neverwinter Beta, but got a message that my region was disabled.   I live in New York City, is this disabled for any reason?

    I think it has something to do with the Yankees sucking image

    I'm in New York, so I'm not sure.  I can play just fine.  I'm about a hundred miles from the city though.

    I'd like to do that, but can't get into the forum without an account, and can't register an account.  Therein lies the problem.

    Maybe nanny bloomburg doesnt want you sitting around playing video games and drinking extra large sodas, and petioned to block the region.... Ya never know with that guy.
