General: Blizzard Hints at New Game for PAX East

Blizzard Entertainment has sent out invitations to PAX East attendees about "a little something different from our other games". According to the PR, it's not "a sequel, expansion, or that rumored next-gen MMO". What do you think it could be? Perhaps a mobile game? Leave us your thoughts in the comments.

    Probably Diablo 3 on the PS3.  They announced it at the Sony PS$ announcement and I think they either said that it would be playable at PAX or E3.  Not sure which one off the top of my head.

    I think Diablo 3 falls under the sequel category. Besides, this seems too important to be a repeat announcement.

    Think you will find Titan is "that rumored next-gen MMO", which if you actually read, they have specifically said it is not.

    Blizzard all stars or Diablo III for the new xbox since i"m sure Microsoft is not far behind on their announcement of next-gen system.

    Like others have said, it's probably Diablo 3 on the PS3 (since Blizz said themselves that Diablo 3 for the PS3 would be available at PAX East)

    EDIT: Reading it, well they do mention a little something different, well I hope it's their DOTA, I've been itching to try that out.

    "Little something" sounds mobile (tablet or handheld console)

    "Little something" can't be PS3 or PC

    Not a sequel or expansion means, no WoW, no Diablo, no Starcraft content.

    No next gen MMO means it's NOT Titan

    You don't get "hands on" a movie, so it's NOT the Warcraft movie

    Diablo 3 did not turn out all that well. Not horrible, but definitely lacking the Blizzard magic. Just a warning to my Xbox and PS friends...

    My guess, since they already talked about showing a PS3/4 version of Diablo III, that the secret something will be a PS4 exclusive game set in a new world. There is no reason to believe that Blizzard's involvement with the Playstation consoles will be strictly limited to the Diablo franchise. 

    Alternatively, there is the DOTA concept, or a casual-friendly mobile project, which I can easily imagine Blizzard doing very well with. 

    Also, since it obviously isn't Titan, my guess is they are saving that for this year's Blizzcon or maybe even the next, depending on their prospective release timetables.

    What about a card trading game like Magic the Gathering or old school PnP DnD but set in Warcraft universe instead?
