Game Update 1.7 To Launch Tuesday, February 12th!
Game Update 1.7: Return of the Gree unveils a new in-game event, Relics of the Gree. Travel to Ilum to investigate the appearance of an ancient Gree starships, called “the Gray Secant.” The Reputation System is also introduced in this game update, which allows you to earn Reputation points by completing missions for organizations such as the Gree or the Voss, or for military divisions within the Republic and the Empire for great rewards.
After this maintenance is over, restart the game launcher to patch to Game Update 1.7: Return of the Gree.
Events are available to Free-to-Play Players and Subscribers at no additional cost. Visit the Free-to-Play Features Chart for more information.

Also, there is interesting comment in Developer Tracker from 2/7/13 by Nthan Emmott. Well, This would be great to come, hopefully soon.
I love the idea of a barber shop feature; we've kicked the idea around a great deal internally. I especially love the idea of being able to add scars to your character as you level (or maybe even change your human to a cyborg because he took too much battle damage!).

Ehm, its a bar that fills up a bit every time you do a daily! Sooooooooo exciting!
So now, in addition to gaining daily currency you have to fill the bar as well to get rewards! Epic!

edit: looks like it is only running from the 12th-26th of feb. definitely thought is was going to last longer especially since one of the 4 reputations is for it

Yep. It's re-occurring event. I am glad Ithere is Holiday next Monday. I need to get all my level 50 characters through it... that's the plan anyway and I have 10 of them LOL. I wonder if there is any difference between Reps and Imps... it's on Ilum so maybe not.

Yeah, that's pretty bad.
SWTOR doesn't support out of SWTOR holidays. (Official line for no in-game events)
OK, life day is an event.
By event we mean stuff in the cartel shop, along with anniversary fireworks.
OK, by not observing real world holidays, we made an exception of Valentine's Day.
Buy a Jawa-gram @ the cartel shop.
Etc., etc.
I'm sure they will make money in the short term, not sure how the playerbase will like this in the long term. So far, they've seemed pretty OK with this sort of thing.
Wait wait wait...did i got this right:
So, in one of the previous gambling packs they released phantom/trailblazer/and another set that eludes me but since the armor sets (not these but jedi ones, think it was Revan or that brown no hood one) were not as in pictures they changed all those sets.
But now...they reintroduce those same sets...in a NEW gambling pack? lol?
They added those since a lot of players were happier with the version that wasn't on the pictures - a more slim version without the shoulders.
Now they have both versions, and people who already had one version got the other one for free - so that they can pick which one they like best and sell the other one if they want (or give it to an alt).

It only took a few missions to unlock the gree spaceship , all done in one day , then you cap your reputation for the week on the second day and save your trophies for the week after. It's just a different way to stop people flying through the whole event too early , instead of opening up more quests every day they did it this way.
I think the event is the wost of the three , but having said that I still like it but wished the ganking would just go away. Companions start attacking opposite factions a lot , which made us laugh then when the attacked person got funny with us , that laughter soon turned to dispair. They should just include a button in the UI , do you want to PVP answer yes or B****y No.
I like the armors and because iv'e started i will finish the rep grind but the weapons aren't that easy to obtain really so i will just wait and gather and see what i have by the 26th.
