Ah good, letting us see if its any good it not first. This is actually a good sign, really bad games tend to do stuff like run a beta a month before launch on a super tight nda then, have a bunch of pre launch cash grabs in place and ideally launch during holidays when less game sites are looking.

Actually your mistaking Closed beta for Open beta. Closed betas normally run from 6 mounths - 1-2 years prior to release. Open betas are just to build interest.

Can anyone confirm that the applications that are going through are mostly from the West US?
Looks like that nasty little region bug that came up in other beta applications is coming up again... The closer to the physical servers you are, the better the chance that your app goes through.
1 point for selecting "exploring" as one of your prefered gaming actions.
1 point for filling out "Why should we pick you"
If you fill out those 3 things, you get an "excellent" application. Too bad I am unable to get passed filling it out. Wish well for all those that get in.

Once of them was a Nord and the other one of the Elves.
Of course if you were not faction locked by race then you would have to interact to find out friend from foe...
