I played real life once.

    I had to quest to go outside and collect 3 animal hides but for some reason all the NPCs got angry and called the guards.

    ... but i heard the game in the teens and twenties is a lot more fun than the end game.

    Full loot PvP isnt as fun when you figure out permadeath is a feature.

    I've heard the lore is quite good if you know where to look. TBH though I find the factions much too numerous and polarized for my tastes. Plus I think there's something wrong with my controls...I seem to get odd emotes at random times. It's embarassing :P

    You can't look up NPCs skirts without being arrested.

    i tried to alt F4 once and the cops showed up....turns out the only way to log out is to wait a life time :S

    found too much grind for low character customization.
    rewards seems to be low too, HP recovery rate sucks for real.

    try before buy, even if it's a game to avoid bad surprises.
    Worst surprises for me: Aion, GW2

    I don't like alts, I generally delete them after a week or two.

    I got way too addicted to it, spending hours at my job, ignoring my online friends and I got involved with an offline Thai girl who did not turn out to be who I thought she was.

    The final straw was having to pay my rent and pay for stuff at the local shops too! I voluntarily went to a rehabilitation clinic and now I don’t spend any time in the real world at all. I hope anyone out there in the same boat gets a second chance like I did.

    Well there one major thing real life has over 90% of the games out atm is that its unpridictable nothing sucks more when you can predict eveything thats honna happen in a game there only a couple of games out there that are unpredictable. Games like WoW, Rift and all those mainstream games are so painfully predicatable its boring :(

    Yea I've tried real life off and on myself. 

     

    Its got pretty amazing graphics. 

     

    But the quests suck.  I never got my characters melee skills very high, so PVP sucks.  Plus if you even try it blue suited "guards" chase you, and will either give you a temporary ban, or if you've really over done it a perma ban.  This happens often.

     

    The economy is absolute trash.  What a joke.  

     

    The mods are all bat **** insane.  

     

    Permadeath is definitely a factor.  Haven't had this happen to me yet.  Some people say when it happens you have to start completely over from the beginning.  Others are saying you get the free expansion.  Others say that's it, and you can never play again.  When this finally happens to me, I'll come back and post about it. 

     

    But mmos are better.  Just sayin.
