Elite: Dangerous is very close to reaching its target, now only about £63,000 to raise with 61 hours to go.
If you want to pledge even a small amount keep an eye on the £20 tier, some should become available as other backers upgrade their pledges.
Some video's to show you what could be in 2014.
Update 30 is out. There's a new stretch goal of £1.5 million for 10 additional ships for a total of 25, there's also a new £25 pledge tier with an extra 500cr starting reward, and the £90 tier will include a star chart.
New concept art, which was used in the Art Diary to help illustrate an anarchic system.
There was more to my last post but this site wont save it.
Anyway the total raised is upto £1,208,000, Elite IV is on its way!

It seemed to be a close one I did think they would make it to 1.25 million =/ Star Citizen + Elite Dangerous for 2014 happy times for space sims

And they're both different types of space sim, which is also great news, and finally a reason to upgrade!
The game has its funding now but the campaign isn't over. There are two stretch goals of £1.4m and £1.5m for a Mac version and ten additional ships respectively. The Mac version would release three months after the Windows version, the ships at launch or with expansions if that stretch goal isn't reached.
When the Kickstarter campaign ends (in 51 hours time) you can still back the game via PayPal. All pledge tiers upto £100 will be available except those which are limited.
Done, Done and Done !
How cool is that !!! Now David, make History again !
Finally we get a "real" Game from Oldschoolers.
Now just count down the days *giggle*
Looking forward to get my Mug and Shirt send in March

Thanks, I had ground through the forum to get there myself anyway, found some interesting threads in there so worth it.
Update 31 is out, with a dev diary about shields.
The Imperial Courier will also be in the game (at some point) but AFAIK they've said it's not been designed yet.
Less than £44,000 needed for a Mac Version.
Gollancz have also purchased three of the writers packs and plan to release their books at the same time as the game.
Mac version ready!
23,953 backers£1,420,613 pledged of £1,250,000 goal15 hours to go
14 hours to go and £76,000 need to hit the "extra ships at launch" stretch goal.
"Elite: Dangerous"... Really?
That's Almost as bad as "Revengeance" in terms of naming a game.
C'mon, how can you back a game when the Dev's cant even think of a good title, makes me worry about the imagination behind this one...
