Age Of Wushu ( The Different Schools )

Yeah I'am kind of pissed that I have to not play for 48 hours to delete my character to start a new one. The game has spotty information for just about everything and its hard to understand whats going since the translations are really bad. Sometimes the quests just make no scense at all, you re read it and get more confused.

But just a warning to people so you know, if you buy it you only make one character. After a certain amount of time, not sure exactly but Ive only played it for a few days, they make you wait 48 hours if you want to delete your guy and make another before you can play again. You can undelete the one guy and still play, but if you want to start over you got to not play for 48 hours.

It's pretty lame setup they got there. It take longer than 10 hours to decide if your going to like a school or not so you better choose right the first time.

Thats strange because I am on my 3rd character. I deleted the first 2 and made others characters right afther. The only problem was that when I tried to use the same name they said it was taken so I had to make up new names.

Kind of a lame setup they got there. I was debating whether I should try the game but this got my attention.

There has been some confusion regarding the consequences for deleting a character that we want to clear up. Let me start by saying that Age of Wushu is an unconventional MMO in many ways. The focus isn't on leveling as quickly as possible to reach an endgame, but instead participating in a persistent and living world. There are many features that encourage this, from characters remaining in game while offline to the emphasis on a player-driven economy. Age of Wushu encourages a connection with a single character, and the journey from newcomer to master.

Simply put, the game was not made to support "alts." Each account is only allowed a single character for this reason. The choices you make are intended to have consequences.

Elite and Deluxe Edition Rewards will not be sent to characters created after a character is deleted and a new one is created.

It's important to be absolutely sure before making any lasting decisions. If you need help or information on which school you should join, there are many resources available, including our very own Schools forum as well as the School Spotlights posted on our official site.

Additionally, you are free to use other Snail Accounts to create free trials and use the allotted 10 hours to evaluate a school before choosing on your main account.

We understand that this is a new way of looking at character management and we appreciate your flexibility and open-mindedness as we work to offer new experiences in the MMO design space.

The 48 hours wait for character deletion will only come into effect after your character progress beyond the "beginner" rating.

I tried to delete my shaolin monk and saw that it took 48 hours so I moved on,unistalled and got a refund.

Gameplay is different to most games and great fun if you enjoy pvp however I don't see a lot of people sticking around for long.

It seems if you do not level the right sequence of skills, you will just die really really fast. Im not sure where my quest line bugged out, but I can't get to the second skill for my school. This is the reason why I'am trying to start a new character. The quest line stopped and I can't find where it is stuck at, so I only have the one skill set and get owned sometimes one shot by other players.

This is a game where if you're not in at the start you will always be at a huge disadvantage to others that were.

Not really a caster type game.

There is a range school the Tangman who have a bunch of throwing knife skills and are annoying as hell to fight.
