    Most of theme park MMO's start to get boring after you spend 200h + in them.

    No its not even the greatest mmo of 2012

    That said its a pretty good mmo, much prefer it to wow type games.

    A reasonable MMO I'd say with an attrocious story / lore/ char that once again proves that ANet doesn't know how to tell a story.

    But it seems to the best game if you want to act in a way that you probably couldn't do in the real world that is if you want to have any friends or loved ones at all.

    I didn't hate it, but I am not sure it made my top ten either. Certainly did not touch my number one spot.

    It is, in my opinion, the best MMO ever made that I've played, with Eve Online a close second for entirely different reasons.

    Didn't even take that long for me to get bored of GW2.  There just isn't anything in it that grabbed me.  To the OP I think you are really stretching it to ask if GW2 is the greatest MMO ever.  I played Vanguard for about 8 months but couldn't bare to stay in GW2 for a whole month, so for me, the answer is a resounding no.

    Eve is mediocre to me. It isn't that good of a game - the lore is MEH.

     

    Rift is decent, so if TSW (for what it brings to the table) and GW2. All games are compromises.
