in Asheron's Call 2 : Fallen Kings

Hey all,

After downloading the client and starting the launcher I recieve an error once it starts "copying files"  The error reads... File not found: C:usersadministratordesktopAC2_1.cab.

I've been unsuccessful in getting my forum account back up on asheronscall.com so I though I'd try here.

Any help is appreciated.

    Move the installer to a folder that isn't the desktop.

    The installer is looking for the file AC2_1.cab file on the desktop.

    Grunty,

    Thanks for your suggestion.  I have done this previously and it is still not working.  Perhaps you can break it down for me or suggest something else.  My apologies as I haven't really had to mess around with installation problems before.  Most games usually work just fine.

    You're welcome whether it helped or not. Many of my answers are intentionally incomplete in order to cause a person think and try a different approach. Learning that way tends to have a longer term effect than a direct answer.

    Sometimes I'm just lazy.
