Star Wars: The Old Republic has won the vote in last week's Choose my Adventure game poll.

This series of articles will focus on character story. Players picked for Shawn Imperial Agent, Chiss male, filtratious and dark side. It will be interesting.

Imperial Agent is one of the best story in SWTOR and one of my favorites - see the vid in my sig - Rise of the Cipher Nine /grin

Aye I liked the Imperial Agent story a lot. Too bad story got discontinued for the forseeable future

As a flirtatious male myself, I had a bit of a different story ending (from other endings I watched on YouTube - I couldn't find the video of my ending), where I flirted with my arch-enemy, telling "her" that she was the best adversary I could have ever asked for, then giving "her" a long passionate kiss, the music kicked in, it was very dramatic, a poetic ending ... and then ..

well I can't spoil everything can I? :-) .. but I didn't kill or capture her, I'll tell ya that much (killing her was apparently the popular choice on YouTube, bleh).

It was more of a neutral choice, continually refusing to capture her for the Empire or kill her for any other dark motives / revenge.

Why fan the flames here Karteli? Story got discontinued? You referring they will never add to the stories is well not to be mean but ignorant. The game has been out a year granted not without its issues, but I would put my money on we will see the stories continue.

I honestly don't feel he is fanning the flames. I am subbed to the game, and the story is on a back burner that went out a few months ago. Eventually there might be some added, but at this point, I feel the Store is prority, with excess funds (lol) going to other things, such as the store.

oh I agree with you about it being on the back burner, but that is different then saying discontinued. Saying that would be fanning the flame for those who will be showing up to post in no time, bashing a game most of them dont even play.

For whatever reason, story arcs seem to be continually pushed back. Future stories that were talked about will involve Imperial vs. Republic storylines, for instance, rather than each class having their own agenda (like before), from what lead writer Hood indicated.

Well maybe a qualifyer like "Discontinued for the forseeable future" might be more accurate (I changed the earlier post too). As I understand it, story arcs are quite expensive to make, and TOR's workforce seems stretched thin already fixing bugs and working on the SSSP / upcoming Illum event & new dailies, etc.

I wish neutral had rewards of it's own, because it's quite different from being light (aka goody two shoes) or dark (aka huge jerk). /sigh

I think they work on it, though... given that most of the best relics at level 50 are neutral and while leveling they are irrevelant... I decided to just follow my feelings and pick the path I really want to take...

As Shawn is going to play Imperial Agent on the Dark Side I thought that I will post here my videos of my Light Side operative, specially for Karteli , so we can compare our gameplay choices...

This is not the whole Imperial Agent quest storyline, it would take countless hours to show it, more like snapshots with focus on my favorite elements of the quest. Initially I wanted to make one video, but after producing 38 minutes of my first video I was still on Dromund Kaas and I realized that it was not possible. I've already cut the quests to bare minimum, cutting more would make the story incoherent to people who never played it.

I'm warning you that it is an ultimate spoiler for Light Side Imperial Agent, though I admit that I made few Dark Side decisions as well

Here is my firsrt version of the beginning of the Imperial Agent Journey - I named it "The Rise of Cipher Nine". I will replace it as soon as my improved version is ready to share. The first video is focused heavily on Kaliyo - the first Agent companion.

PS. Just got today PowerDirector 11 and l am learning how to make videos with this software, so it will take me couple days to work on it. So the second video of the agent story has to wait a little bit. I think I am also going to re-do the first story, as I have a much better tools now to do it. My Roxio PC Game Edit software got a weird glitch today... and I cannot use it. My second video was already finished and ready to export when it happened LOL. I got so pissed off that I got another software as a backup LOL. I think I like it much more

I don't quite get the idea behind this.

It is not strictly review, it's more RP event - at least in case of Shawn. Massively has this Choose My Adventure series when players can choose from many games. This time it was SWTOR, but there was already GW2 and other games in this series. Players also choose the other option, in SWTOR case gender, class, crafting, DS or Ls etc. All these features are picked by polls, which sometimes makes it hilarious LOL.

Actually in case of IA the grey option for the ending is pretty awesome. Granted not all end story decisions are grey, but some are and they are really interesting. Like dealing with Hunter as grey option brought tears to my eyes. So far it was the most emotional moment for me in SWTOR. I cried like a teenager LOL. But then... I am very attached to my characters:)
