1.) How much does AC1 cost?

2.) Is AC2 full loot open pvp? I totally forgot!

    3. Do we keep beta characters? :P
I got addicted to streaming. You can check it out by searching "JakeSimTV". I'd post a link but it shows my channel embedded.

    1: 10 bucks

2: The AC2 full loot pvp server is the same name as the AC1 full loot pvp server and its called Darktide.

They had some sort of wow like alliance pvp system but i cant really remember any of the details and have had no luck in googling it, I do know that they had multiple different rulesets for individual servers but unfortunetly i have no idea what the Dawnsong ruleset is and its actually preventing me from pulling the trigger on resubing so any details on Dawnsong would be much appreciated.

Dawnsong seems to be just the beta server though...  when it goes live there is no reason to think they couldn't stretch to 2+ servers from the interested player base, so maybe they will be able to offer PvP and PvE.

1.) Is this game solo friendly the entire game?

2.) What kind of group content is there?

If i recall they had an instanced solo storyline that you could follow as you leveled to the cap that had cutscenes (slideshows) that helped the story unfold and yeah you can get by solo or in a group.

So if your not on the PvP server, AC2 is 100% PvE?

It all depends on the server ruleset but as i said before i dont recall what this servers ruleset was, i think there were 3 rulesets..

    1. Darktide=FFA Full Loot

2.Allegiance PvP= Faction PvP based on your choosen alliance or race (dunno about the corpse looting)

    3.PvE

I know for sure the server in question did indeed exist back when AC2 was live i just cant find anything on the ruleset.

i think they might have called it KVK

    Kingdom vs. Kingdom

they had SOME acronym that was diff from RVR i believe.

    The End
    ---------------------------
i don't expect to like Darkfall, altho i may like it MORE than other MMOs. i know it is gonna have a very frustrating level of grind to it, even if its significantly less than most. waiting for a pure FAST action virtual world. dice rolling & character levels (even "skills") IN COMBAT should have never carried over from pencil & paper to a computer that can reasonably model 3D spaces and objects

AC2 PvE servers had KvK zones and PvP zones, one of those zones you had to run through during the 'Hero' questline. the KvK obviously teamed you up with fellow members of your kingdom, while the PvP zones were free for all.

When you have a mob's loot window open you can convert the loot in it to coin from the small button in the lower right corner. To convert stuff from your inventory, put them into an open loot window and convert.

So do you have to jsut buy the AC1 download once or is it 10 dollars a month recurring? IF you play AC1 for a month will you be able to keep playing AC2 after?

Easier way to turn items to gold if the items are in your inventory is to just drag the item up to where it says your gold and it automatically turns that item into gold.
Also the current ruleset for the beta server is just the old standard rules. No pvp except for specifically designated pvp zones which are easily avoided till at least lvl 40ish. Even after lvl 40+ it isn't impossible to avoid pvp in many places.
The other rulesets were free for all pvp and KvK (kingdom vs kingdom) which was a 3 (or 4 if you include neutrals) way no place is safe(not even your guild hall) full pvp mode. I don't recall there being any loot dropping off defeated players however and they didn't lose any gear or gold dying in pvp.

you can try what i'm doing: pay the 10bucks for the game, which comes with 30days free gameplay.

...remember when gaming companies used to this all the time?

"There are at least two kinds of games.
One could be called finite, the other infinite.
A finite game is played for the purpose of winning,
an infinite game for the purpose of continuing play."
