TERA: 'Slay' Bells Ring

En Masse Entertainment has laid out the details for its "Santa's Slay" event in TERA. During the event, players are charged with hunting down and defeating Santas all across the game world. By so doing, they will earn the chance to win some nifty prizes.

From December 14 to January 2, you can seek out Fat Santas and Tiny Santas across the world of TERA. Defeat the santas, and you’ll earn fat loot and tiny treasures full of holiday goodies, including cosmetic items, enchanting gear, and high-level consumables…along with a chance for the holiday-only Santa cap! You’ll also get one fat loot and one tiny treasure the first time you log in during the event.

     I wait patiently for EME to transfer over the 3V3 arena and Hellfire pit instance with leaderboards and difficult scaling that they have over in Korea.

     

    I also know Korea is working on a larger expansion but no news about it is being leaked sadly.

    I have to be honest. Since it went F2P until lvl 28, I tried it again only to uninstall. Go kill 10 of these, get 5 of those over and over and over zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Combat alone is not worth the sub. This game is BORING.

    When it goes ftp, then I might make a spot on my HD for it. Till then, no thanks. The main problem I have seen with this is they tried to do the same thing over again. WoW style quests, AoC style combat with dodge added. At least AoC made no reservations about it being a mature only game and that's why it still has a fairly decent following. Maybe if they did'nt "clean" it up for the western audience it probably would have done better. Bottom line is don't wipe out part of your game that makes it great and expect it to be the same game. All because they were worried about getting a mature only tag. Guess what, that's probably the only people still playing.
