I don't think its bugged, lol.
People just down vote them because of they missed the launched and try to shill it by blaming Steam.
They could have launch their game first and launch on Steam later like any other gaming companies.

haha AV really know how to piss off its loyal fans and put out a really bad image for any possible new players..
They announced the delay like an hour before the 12th.. thats just plain bad.
A day ago the game had 484 votes. It now has 531. So that means 47 added 1s based on the most recent news. and who knows how many people have changed their vote over being pissed.
I'm personally hyped there will be a beta.
Edit: It's funny, when the original release date was announced, fans on the DF forums were asking everyone to go hype the game. Now there are threads asking everyone to go change their vote to a 1.

Since when mmorpg.com = loyal fans? Im not pist, none of the real vets are pist. L2 make the difference between fake vets and real vets today by visiting darkfall forum EU1, NA1 session and pvp.

Think about that, if you find out a close person to you lied to you or didnt told you a real important information he was knowing longer time before, how would you react ? nice and dandy ? like it doesn't count anything for you. You either play cool or DF doesn't interest you much and you about to replace it .

I'm certain only MMORPG users are pissed about this "launch". Everyone else is just fine and dandy.
Close to midnight last eve, i heard a popping noise and thought how odd that people were making popcorn so late. It was only later on i realized it was the sound of popping whiteheads on the faces of raging children as they read the annoucement from AV.
Be cool people, life will throw up much worse than a game being delayed.

It's because of AV and their business aproach (or the lack of it) for the past decade.
Promissing stuff and than changing plans like underwear.
Imagine, they ditched DF1.0 but still kept it running for almost 2 years before they finaly told us (between the lines) about their work on a "NEW" upgraded game. After that it still took them months to come out clear about wipes and other """details""". Even tho the small population kept shrinking slowly and one would expect better server performance, it was the oposite. It ofn got so bad for long periods of time that it was just mind bogling.
It was now about a year ago when all made sense to me. They wrote a certain blog post, releasing a very vague information about DF2.0 for the first time. Between the lines they told me clearly they just want to milk monthly sub even tho they don't work on the old game anymore.
By the time we were happy if we've gotten a small bug patch every few months. Overall I was utterly unsatisfied how AV handles things (or doesn't handle to be precise). That new info, together with already lwo population made me quit.
I was and still am very much against complete wipes of MMORPGs a few years after release. It's the easy way out and I don't want other developers think gamers want their MMOs wiped every now and than.
So I quit and am patiently waiting for the new improved Darkfall since.
The engine might very well be better this time around but as we can still clearly see AV is the same old. And as a Darkfall fan it makes me sad.

BUT AV doesn't earn any right to be handled patiently with. Their bussines philosophy is bad and fanbois telling everyone to be quiet and wait, are esentialy just shooting themself in the foot.
Self-pity imprisons us in the walls of our own self-absorption. The whole world shrinks down to the size of our problem, and the more we dwell on it, the smaller we are and the larger the problem seems to grow.
