The problem with EA is the fact people still buy their games, lining their pockets with more cash for them to buy out more games companies until sometime in the not too distant future, there will only be EA left.

Then that is the time to let out a Vader style 'Nooooo'.

I don't think ea are "evil"

I think its more of a case they are so big they end up very prone to the peter principle

I fucking hate EA and the fact that EA has consumed Bioware reinforces the undeniably fact that we live in a godless, soul-less, and merci-less universe. Could God prove me wrong by annihilating both EA and Activision? Only *GAMERS* would know and benefit. I hate this world and wish only death and destruciton on everyone until my *fantasy* becomes reality.

You realize you are talking about a game, right? A videogame. A few pixels on a screen.

And you are 47 years-old? Honestly, not even my 10 years-old nephew will spout such childish rant for a videogame.

This is a gaming forum. People in general here spend a lot of time playing games and they are passionate about them. You can be passionate about beer if you want ... but the last thing you can do (and call it smart) is to go on GAMING forum and call them childish ... LOL

To say that EA doesn't care for gamers is misguided at best, and stupid at worse. No business that understands the value of customers doesn't hate them. EA is learning and isn't perfect, but I believe in it.

While hate is maybe too strong of a word, I very much dislike EA due to their practice of buying up good game studios and destroying them and the IPs they became well known with.  I do not purchase any game that has the EA logo on it.  I suppose it does hurt me somewhat, as I'll miss out on the new SimCity and likely other potentially decent games in the future.  On the other hand, loss of sales definitely does harm EA.  I'm only one person, but thousands of "one person"s make a difference.

I understand the whole arguements about EA killing smaller developers, yadda, yadda, yadda. So maybe my viewpoints are a little more far seeing than the hand in front of my face. But I personally would never HATE a gaming company, especially FUCKING HATE.... and to wish God would go all jihad on their asses? Ummm yeah...

Some here would calll it naive to still buy a good game from EA when I know fully well what EA "stands" for. snicker But I buy games for the sake of it being a good FUCKING (sorry OP) game! ROFL that's like me hating America because racisim exist here. Riiiiiight. But honestly for me there is too little time on this planet to contemplate things not really worth contemplating. That includes evil gaming empires, clueless sandbox hatin devs and fat wallet investors wasting money on the next WoW clone pipe dream.

I know there is no changing people, I just hope there are more like-minded people on these forums that share a similar viewpoint to mine.

Best thing ea could do would be to split themselves into 3 or 4 companies that specialise in certain gaming areas.

They are just too big and buerocratic. It's the only way to explain how they end up with all these "marketing types" ending up being development leads and stuff.

+1. I wish mods would just lock these damn things as they are only repeat posts of 5000 identical threads that offer no new information or no new item that hasn't already been discussed.
