If you are Imperial - you can lit fireworks only if Sith will permit it... and in designated areas under punishment of death if violated... if you are Republic... the war created a shortage in this area and fireworks are a rarity ... I think Hutts have a monopoly for these goods atm....

You miss the point, I think. In SWG, for all it's eventual sins, you had the power of *choice*. In TOR there almost literally is none..
Winner.
this "game" is so linear, it's really just an interactive movie. so i really wonder if there's players out there who have been active for the entire year.
Yes. We were completelt entertained because SWG let us create our own fireworks....
You are missing the point. The point is that in SWG, I could explore, claim sections of land (virtually any area on the planet) and turn them into player cities, I could infiltrate and take down a real enemy city via PvP, I could create and completely customize my own starship and explore / fight in space, I could dogfight real players in space, I could delve into the deepest crafting every created via MMO, etc.
I've seen players in SWG that have played for years and never fired a blaster shot.
So yes. SWG was extreme entertainment, whereas SWTOR didn't even last me through half the free month.
Lifeday SWTOR version coming up.

The Return of ELITE !
I'm one of those who never used combat in SWG, and I miss it Lol. I was a dancer/medic and a musician/combat medic, but I never left cantinas!! I loved to decorate my houses and I miss my house on naboo (. All I did was buy stuff all over the galaxy, traveled to the different planets and slowly explored them, visited player shops to buy cosmetics and house furniture, and did dancing missions to afford them because I never leveled my combat...
It was fun!! Lol, as I currently have Station Access and I was using Station Access back then to pay for EQ1, EQ2 and SWG, I would still be playing the game today if it hadn't been cancelled (.
Ahh, what a shame, bring back sandboxes, and if you won't bring back SWG, can you please remake SWG2 and put it on Station Access Sony??!
