It's going to be funny to see how butchered those zones are in ARR.
Looking at that first video, how far are you from beyond Limsa Lominsa?
Beautiful yes, but the game really lacks variety in the landscapes.
While Im sure aly is just trolling...I kinda agree with him from a different perspective. The world ended in a Super dragon firery apocolypse..I would hope some if not all of the zones show some sign of "butchering"

Well, go play alpha. Zones got seriously downgraded. But hey, at least you can spam fetch quests now.

Black Shroud v 1.0 = green corridors with - boring take an hour to walk - passages. Where point A at east looked exact same as point B at north, south, west. You could not tell where are you if you would not take a look at the map maze.
Black Shroud v 2.0 = there is no exact same location, its full of unique aspects. South, North, East everything is completely different.
Its not downgrade.
