Voted for sandbox space system. Something that lets players do freeroam/explore on a large scale like that can keep many hooked. Heck, I was subbed to SWG just for the space combat for 3 years (always got really bad lag on planets for some reason, even though I have a good connection).

Proper open world PvP is the only thing which might get be interested in this game again. As for the sandbox features, that would be cool, but it will never ever happen. Why? Because neither Bioware nor EA have got a clue on how to design a proper sandbox game.

For a multiplayer KoToR game, I expect tons of choice driven story with multiple ending and paths depending on your choices, and plenty of group content, since it's a multiplayer game.

That's honestly all I expected out of Bioware, which is what they promised. Instead, I got a smattering of class story, interweived with tons of solo-questing, with some group content that people either ignored, or it took an obscenely long time to find a group for.

I'll have to go with the ladder on this one. The atmosphere was great but a great deal of it felt linear and the space combat was too much of a mini-game for me. Combat felt a bit overwhelming at times and gave me no sense of real strength. If I can shock, choke, throw my lightsaber or flurry a target and it's still alive after 15 or 20 seconds of beating and be a standard mob, I lose my sense of prowess. Take on 3 of those mobs at once and you're forced to challenge yourself. Challenge is great, but every mob (at your level) shouldn't feel like a raid boss. Take into account that I've played MMORPGs for many years though and I'm sure most people that came into SWTOR had already played top notch MMORPGs like WoW and such. It's a great game for a while, but quickly becomes familiar and begs the question, "Why take the traditional MMORPG layout but not implement or innovate other than the franchise in question and what you would expect in a Star Wars universe?"

All the above answers OP. They focused so much on creating a single player character story that the game plays like a single player RPG with co-op play opportunities rather than an MMORPG. And like any single player game, there is a certain feeling of done and time to move on once you have completed the story arc. There is simply nothing in the game to hold you at the end and nothing warranting the grind.

Did they really think this was what people want from an MMORPG? Apparently so...

At least they nailed the PvP warzones, I´ve played them a lot.

If they add more, I´ll probably check out F2P and play my free 5 warzones a week.

But I don´t plan to spend anything on the "cartel shop".

Only if all those boxes were ticked would i ever consider looking at SWTOR again.

Without a signifcant input in content it's just not worth it.

I got a shock when I found out that the tiny small starter zone was the whole planet. I quickly understood SW-TOR would be a complete fail and sink like a rock. Which it did.

Nothing can change this; MAYBE a revamp of the universe with free-roam where you can fly wherever you like, and not on stupid rails as it used to be when I played.

This game's price was a scam.

I have a long list of complaints with this game. I really tried my best to like this game; because, well, it's Star Wars. That wasn't enough... The WoW like community is demoralizing, the stagnate worlds, the over use to dialogue. It all adds up into one big depressing mess.

No we just found out it is more space missions on a rail. Ugggg!!! I want my SWG2, or pre cu swg back.

They just released that the super secret space project isn't the rail missions and it's a complete departure of the rail mini game. However it's more than a year out lol(good luck with that, with star citizen, elite dangerous and the like coming out)

Honestly at this point, I don't believe anything can get me back into the game. I just bought a month sub to see what my cartel coins would get me. Wanted to see what they added(nothing), ended up just standing at the pvp terminal qued for a warzone for an hour before I quit again. (don't worry this time I actually uninstalled the game so I would never be tempted back into that half a WoW duplicate)

Also, I read all the pve QQ threads about having to get parts for the HK robot in a pvp area, so I though "hmm, maybe there is some world pvp" after a couple hours there without seeing anyone, went back to fleet.

I bought the game for what I hoped would be world class faction conflict in Illum.When I stopped playing or caring it was still screwed up. Realm vs realm conflict is why I play mmog's.With the failure (IMO) of GW 2 WvW.....i'm not playing any game atm.

What would get me back into this game ? World class realm vs realm conflict.
