I blew up my old rig ( long story ) so im making a new one with all the add ons and extras it will run me 1450$ building it from scratch key points for my new rig
I like AMD and The HD GPUS things run better when everything matches out MoBo,CPU,GPU all AMD . Think 1000 watts should be good for this set up . Extrasa case lighting , Blue ray dvd burner , Case , wireless keybord and mouse , wireless headset , 1tb hdd , wireless gamepad , and windows 8

I would spend this 1450$ diffrently if I would build PC.
Anyway since you ask:
"What's your Rig?"
i5 2500k
8 GB RAM
GTX 470 Super OC Gigabyte version.
OCZ ZS 650 W and I still have alot of PSU cacapity even with graphics card power hog overclocked addiotnally.
Fractal Design Define R3 case.

My rig is powered by the Hamster-Wheel 2000(tm) when I try to play ARR's beta the amount of fail will be so great that it will collapse into a fail singularity and destroy the world.
I would take 7950 instead of 2x7850. Crossfire or SLI is pain. You get micro-stuttreing + significant amount of games cannot utulize double-GPU good and either performance suffer or you have to switch to single GPU for that game.
Additionally you need stronger PSU for that which increase price.
Not worth it imho.
my list from newegg

I did think about a single 7950 but i will be playing on a 60inch HD Visio and i like dule GPUs but i dont want this to become a Flame out on what should be and shouldent be paid for or Why this why that you can do this better .
Just post your rig easy. Thread asks what your rig is not is my rig good enuff . JeeZZE people

you did say you were building it, and didn't have it yet. people were tryin to help you out.
THIS. Daddydazzle is right.
If you want just want to have topic about listing people builds then you have to word it accordingly. You make an impression that you don't have your PC ordered or built already, so people were trying to help. Jeeeez people (see what I did here?)
Don't do crossfire. Take it from someone who knows. half the games i play on pc dont make real use of my extra card.

Hitachi 5200RPM 1TB HDD
8 GB 1333Mhz RAM (generic, AFAICT)
Corsair TX750 V2 750W PSU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231455 (2 of these)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065 (Don't plan on much overclocking, so should be fine. Also have some good Arctic Silver cleaner / prepper / paste to go with it)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146094 (Very roomy case. Metric fuck-ton of fan slots too. Should last a lifetime)
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM HDD
GPU, PSU, media drive, cabling and such will be recycled from my current PC. I plan on getting a new GPU next year (undecided as to which brand).
Should be able to handle anything I throw at it for the forseeable future.
I've been slowly buying parts as funds become available (since June). The initial plan was to simply upgrade, but I realized that I'd be better off building a new system, especially if I'm going to the trouble of swapping cases and installing a new CPU cooler.
Heres the build I just finished

I wouldn't get 1gb vram cards... you are going to have issues with a lot of games.
Size of the monitor/TV means nothing only the resolution I would assume its 1080p ( 1920x1080 ) just don't be disapointed when those 1gb cards bite you in the ass...
Anyway my Rig is:
i5 2500k @ 4.4GHz
gtx 680 @1250MHz
Corsair TX850M PSU
corsair 120gb SSD
Samsung spinpoint f3 1tb HDD
8gb 1600 ddr3 ram
3 x Dell Ultrasharp u2412m monitors
And a 1080p 22 inch tv i use as a 4th monitor/tv.
