Aion: Player-Run Tournament Announced

An Aion player group, citing the lack of official PvP tournaments, has announced the formation of a single-elimination PvP tournament that will take place beginning December 1st. NCSoft has donated enchantment stones, a special plushie and NC coins that will ultimately be awarded to the winner.

How to Join the Battle of Kahrun: It is a simple process which should take no longer than 5minutes. Create and account @ http://epidemicgaming.com . Once you have created an account head here http://epidemicgaming.com/tournament...ney[id]=12 Create a team name with your "IN-GAME NAME".

    Hopefully the game's long standing hack abilities will be monitored in this tournament. As long as there is a judging panel to monitor this, then should be fun.

    Probably not worth it unless you are geared pretty high though.

    Just to clear a little bit up.  NcWest is only supplying the Plush Toy which is one of a kind Tutty n Beans :D!

    The other prizes for the tournament are anonymously donated :D.

    The tournament will also be livestreamed in HD @ http://www.twitch.tv/epidemic_gaming with shoutcasters starting at 1:30pm pst on 12/1 Saturday :D!  Tune in and enjoy :D!

    When they started forcing you to install Pando Media booster on your computer to update this game, I just uninstalled Aion.   I will never install that piece of crap program, it constantly sends and recieves data to/from the internet.

    You don't need PMB anymore :/

    You can disable it and still update Aion fyi. :)

    Well game will not update unless it is installed on my computer, so you are incorrect.

    I agree, those are probably the two biggest issues this game has and unfortunately it means it's near impossible to have fair tournaments. Even TERA, which also has some serious gear curve and class balance issues (although thankfully no hackers), had a tournament where they provided everyone with an equal gear set so they at least made an attempt. Although anyone who wants fair skilled PvP should probably play other games lol.
