So, adding daily additional farm missions for gear progression isn't all that bad. The geargrind system isn't great itself but adding options is a positive thing.

From the looks of it, it appears to be another month of treadmilling..  round and round!!..  Upping the degree of dificulty is not new content.. In fact it's lazy sloppy designing..  Don't get me wrong.. I'm not saying that tier progression shouldn't be in games, but I view them as side mini-games.. and should in no way be confused as "new" content or be the focus of any patches..

If they dont award BH comms then they are not part of the geargrind, and are just as useless as other dailies (those were obsolete back in January).

    Rewards:

When you complete the Space Combat Mission for the first time, you are rewarded with 20 Fleet Commendations and 7175 credits.

This may allow you to pick up a new quest for the Space Mission you just completed that reward 2 Black Hole Commendations, 5 Daily Commendations and 40 Fleet Commendations (info provided by Red-Dwarf). Currently this quest can be repeated instantly but might be changed on live servers.

The first set of dailys have a purpose, and that was money to counter the money sinks.
consumables and orange gear modding as well as crafting over and over for a crit with aug slot on rakata belt / bracers etc.

Don't get me wrong i'm no fan of gear treadmill at all. But additional options to keep one busy are not bad, even for such a system.

For what, releasing less and less content?

I guess when they stop content updates altogether youll be infinitly in love with it?

These kind of posts are so immature. If the guy likes it, he likes it. Who are you to say otherwise?

    Ehm, who are you again?

And where have i said otherwise? In fact ive written a condition where he will totally be in love with the game, considering his statements.

    Obvious fanboism is obvious.

They failed at first step. And so you know what fanbois on forums were saying?

"They didnt say there will be an update every 6 weeks, but that they AIM to have an update every 6 weeks" lol

And even if they stick to 6 weeks it equates 1 proper update every 6 MONTHS. Thats slow. VERY slow.

You are right, it wanst 6 weeks, it was 8, because a 2 weeks delay is really an HUGE PROBLEM. But dont worry the 1.6 will come in 6 weeks or less.

Its a huge problem because it was miniscule update with already finished content.

And you know that how? As you said 6-8-10 weeks its all the same to them lol.

But as we all know WZ was playable back in august ha ha ha

It's so obvious there are marketing people from EA/Bioware on these forum, getting paid for subtly hyping the game, that I really don't understand how can you get upset over their threads and posts. Let them earn their salary and just ignore them if it bothers you so much.

Granted, this is common for other games and forums as well, but some are more subtle than others.

    I rofl on this on.

Do you really think that nobody loves this game? That if you think it's bad everybody has to think the same way?

Take my word, there is plenty of people who love SWTOR and who want it to succeed. I am one of them and not the only one.

Please do not insult people who bring information about the game and it's new content and who express their love for game.

    Thanks

    and Makeb.

Yah, they way they strecth it it could last literary YEARS rofl. And then they conclude updates are slow....lol

Yah dudes, speed it up, 1,6 is MINISCULE just as 1,5...

And when is NEW STORY CONTENT (you know, one that was supposed to be main thing in SWTOR) coming?

You expect a six week schedule will be massive? Let's get reasonable.

Well, considering they claimed before they will have full update every month...raising that to 6 weeks would be OK.

Raising that to 6 months...well thats quite a change. And dont forget, no story updates, just mundane generic stuff like few dailies/wz/raid/FP.

Its still paifully slow, man i almost feel sorry for not liking Rift rofl

4 weeks for this kind of miniscule updates is TOPS. If they cannot churn it out faster...reeks of skeleton crew.

that would equate 3 normal updates a year. Anything less is DEFINATELY not worth money they ask for (considering competition, and, well, general quality of the product) and i wouldnt call it AAA title any more.

I am happy with them releasing this amount of content every six weeks, as opposed to games like WOW releasing maybe 2.5 times this much twice per year.  MMOs are perfect for these kinds of minor and persistent updates.

Unfortunately, I am severely let down by the cost of HK for alts and the lack of story quest dialogue for him.  HK feels watered down.

Anyway, I'm probably not returning until they add massive multiplayer space combat.  I'm guessing that will be 2015.

LOL dude... keep dreaming. What do you think this is a successful mmo?

EA wouldn't invest the dough required to create a legit space game within a mmo thats failed and went f2p.

    Playing: Nothing

    Looking forward to: Nothing

Nice to see some things haven't changed.

    1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

    2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

    3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

THE SWTOR DEVELOPERS HAVE LEARNED NOTHING!

The biggest problem with SWTOR is the fact that it's a redundant borefest. So what do do they do? They decide to add another redundant Warzone that can be played over and over and over and over again until you obtain your cool little piece of armor that everyone already has. Moreover, they are also adding in a REDUNDANT new Space Mission. Heroic? Haha! These space-on-rails missions are so spot-on repetitive that players are actually running looping macros to gain coin and XP while they work, sleep, or do anything else that is more preductive than this terrible game (which is anything else).
