So basically to sum up PS2 its just flipping territory and thats it.
I played for about 3 hours and I'm really disapointed I was really hoping for a great game.
* Map is much much smaller than I expected. I expected it to be a world .
* No safe zones , I didnt do much research on this game but when I think mmorpg I think cities , safe zones and auction houses.
* Nothing player built.
This is the first time I support a FTP game, I dont like FTP but Im really glad I was able to try this game out before I wasted money on it.
Between SWTOR , Tera , WOW getting Lazy , Diablo 3 sucking and now this PS2 crapfest , in my opinion video games as a whole are really starting to suck lately.

What did you expected from FPS?
What FPS got bigger maps? if PS2 got small maps LOL

It is just mmofps just a shooter in persistant map. Not a mmorpg.

Well aside of PS1 and WWII there is no other mmofps out there. If you're referring to BF3, CoD, Halo, etc then those are just FPS or more specifically multiplayer FPS.
multiplayer is not same as mmo.
FPS doesn't have to mean zero emphasis on a gameworld. You can still have cities and roads, or more elaborate terrain like forests, swamps, mountains and caves, etc, etc. None of that is about the game being PvE. It's about putting the game into a context that is bigger than just pure bare-bones simplistic PvP.
Like I've said, I went into the game knowing it was a shooter, and knowing it was all about PvP, but I still expected there to be more of a plausible world involved. I didn't expect it to just play like a giant persistent arena match.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

I don't see how people can justify the small maps because it's a FPS.. there is no technical difference you know.. it actually requires less tech power to run first person because there's one less character model on screen. The point is, they could have made a massive world and that's what some people wanted.
With decent travel systems in place and good alerts about where the action is, a massive world for a FPS could work just fine.

Your expectations are just ridiculous. The game does exactly what was advertised, Yet you complain.
You got exactly what hyped you up. I don't understand why you think the game was supposed to be like an mmorpg.
To get exactly what you seem to be looking for. Check out Firefall. You should be pleased with it more.

Well, there's Firefall. Maybe doesn't count because its still in beta, but I found it to be much more impressive than PS2.
Oh, and Dust514, too.. although I haven't played that one myself, yet, so no idea how it compares.

Game play is pretty good
however f2p is a joke huge queues to play and only the golden ticket holders can jump the queue, and thats not just guys who put money into the game but a whole new premium premium payed player to jump the queue

FireFall holds a lot of promise, yes.
That said these two games have about nothing in common. I can see what appeals to some people about both.
Personally I like FF more, buts thats mostly due to the controls feeling more natural to me. (Not realistic, just natural from a gaming point of view.) On the other hand, if you had a game like FireFall with the same ammount of players as PS2 tend to have in hot spots I imagine it would get to frentic and confusing.
Ahhh the Firefall world...the PvE in one instance and PVP in another instance.
When PS1 came out, it was for the FPS genre, not the RPG crowd. But when you add MMO in front of your genre name, now you have people trying to claim what type of game it should be.
Sorry, your average PS2 players do not hang out here.
ooooooooooooooooohhhh really another topic? so whats the point of any MMOFPS... FPS? Battlefield? CoD? CS? etc... you just run with gun and shoot other players... WOW OMG FTL QQ.. This "insert-any-FPS-like-game" is a complete disapointment.
