Here are the Skills. Some will be at launch some soon after.

Magic Casting - The use of magic spells in combat.
Swordsmanship - The use of swords in combat.
Shields - The use of shields in combat.
Woodcutting - The skill used to chop down trees.
Mining - The skill uses to extract metals from rocks.
Harvesting - The skill used to gather from bushes and plant life.
Jeweler - The crafting of jewelery.
Treasure Hunter - The ability to use maps to find hidden treasures.
Parry - Defense skill using swords.
Archery - The skill used when hunting with a bow.
Carpentry - Crafting of Housing and Furnishings
Cooking - Crafting of Food and Drinks
Alchemy - Crafting Of Potions
Armorsmith - Crafting Of Armor Sets
Survivalist - The ability to turn non typical items into nourishment.
Bowyer - Crafting of Bows and Cross Bows
Fishing - Fish for, well, fish!
Skinning - Skin Animals For Leathers
Leatherworking - Craft Leather Armors
Meditation - Focusing Ones Energy To Replenish Mana
Tinkering - The use of metals and wood to craft various useable items.
Tailoring - The crafting of cloth items and clothing.
Weaponsmith - Crafting swords and bladed weapons.
Fletcher - Crafts arrows and bolts.
Medium - The ability to speak with the dead.
Steam Tinker - The ability to craft creatures with metals and steam power.
Cold Resist - Resistant to cold climates and spells.
Fire Resist - Resistant to hot climates and spells.
Merchant - The ability to manage multiple NPC Vendors.
Dancer - Used to Entertain Others Through Dance
Bard - Used to Entertain Others Through Music and Song
Farming - The ability to raise higher number of live stock.
Author - The ability to write books of fiction and sell them.
Archivist - The ability to craft books, paper, maps and the like.
Poisoning - The ability to poison weapons
Throwing - Use of throwing weapons
Glass Blowing - Crafting of Various Bottles
Masonry - Crafting of various bricks.

    hey you all should add Magic Melee

    and

    magic Ranged

    skill lines, for those that like to roleplay tradtional RPG classes like that.

     

    that way they can play a certain way while still being balanced, rather than going Magic Casting+  Melee-or-ranged kind of build, which never play properly in skill based MMO.

    Animal Taming would be nice too!  If you could put for example a set of armor in a bag, put the bag on your vendor, and have the bag sold as a set a la UO, I would be in heaven :)

    I'm surprised this isn't listed as at least coming soon. I'm guessing this would only be implemented far into the future if it's even being planned.
