I have yet another complaint about Leauge OF Legends.
The game is a great game, geat artwork, and in some cases a great community, however it has to be said, and get attention where it is needed.
The GM's of this game are idiots. They allow Cursing in game, Trolling, Griefing, Lewd Posts, and Explicit content which is only suitable for 18+ on their forums, In Game, and on the website.
Due to the rules of the forum I can't provide the actual snapshots or links to such conduct because it would be inappropiate for me to do such, However I can provide the following proof that what I say is true. However you might find such content on the search engine as some of it was posted on the forums and while moderators did remove it some of it took 5-7 days enough time for a minor to click on it.
Not only this but I have been sent links in game chat by others which contain Malicious Spyware, Malaware, and Pornography, while I know better than to click links I clicked one for the hell of it immediately after my pc became infected with a rogue java exploit, The GM's have no control over this, and by playing this game, or letting anyone under the age of 18 play it you are exposing them to this kind of conduct and community.

This is bull, While some may see the behavor as Unacceptable, I have been playing LOL for over a year, and it was not this bad when I first started, however since the Tribunal and Trolls came you can see how bad the community has became.
First Game, I had victor coming into my lane and stealing/Trolling/Griefing.
Second Game, Ping Spammers people spamming the map as soon as the game started without a reason, and obviously my mate rushing in and dying.
Third Game, Being trolled by mates about not buying an item at the start of the game its obvious, also pay attention to this guys language where he uses the F Word, and calls us all R*****S.
Fourth Game, Don't remember this game too much but probabily our vayne was rushing in like the rest at the start of the game, or spamming pings.
Fifth Game, Trolls just read the entire chat.
While I have been reported by like 1 Troll in each of these games I find it stupid that my account would even get a Time Ban when other palyers are using Inappropiate Language, calling people n00bs, and retards this just is beyond me how the GM's of this game can allow the Tribunal to go on, and in my eyes the Tribunal needs to be removed from this game for this reason of Trolling/Griefers abusing it to their advantage. While my behavor or talking in chat may seem inappropiate to some as a team game, I did not use any of the language these others used, and it was for a good reason because they were debating in game, or Trolling.

Well Generally I wouldn't report someone for using the word N00b, or Retard a couple of times in a game. However the abuse begins when people report others for being a Troll, and they are griefing themselves and breaking the conduct listed on the League OF Legends website.
However when it becomes abusive to the point where you are reported, suspended and then I have to review the game and I see that players are using Foul Language, Cursing, and Calling people noobs/retards asking other to report X person in the game then it becoems a problem.
As far as clicking the link I really don't care because see I have been hit by the same Java Exploit which currently unless patched effects millions of computers and if I get infected I always have a backup, and can easily fix the bug should it happen, however those with no experience when their system restore gets disabled they can break their computer and have to fortmat just by making one big mistake or not keeping a backup.
Problem is league of legends community and its GM's seem to be allowing this type of conduct.

If chat bothers you- Try not to look at it. I personally do not want the entire online community (gaming/forums, etc.) to be Rated "G" to accomadate everyone. Tjhe Computer and TV should not be there to babysit kids anyhow- Watch them. And if you are an adult/young adult and are so easily offended- Grow some thicker skin.
EDIT: Look, we are random people in a random Forum/Game who have no idea who you are (and you have no idea who we are) so taking things personal from an online stranger is probably not real healthy... Who are these people to you? They are nobody.. So why worry???
Hoenstly, I am not really bothered personally, I just don't care. However when GM's are going to be corrupt, and allow Trolling, then I am going to Troll Back by exposing what their community is like and what they allow.
However with this said i am over 18+ So Cursing, or such doesn't offend me, however when there is a 13 year old in the room that is a different story.
So if this game allows the use of Explicit Language, and Content, why does Lyte, and a few of the other GM's say that calling a person a n00b, or a retard in the game is punishable, but yet the trolls win each time?
Yes I agree you are right don't look at chat true, 99% of random matches unless I get decent matches I have to mute everyone due to ping spams, trolling, or being a idiot or so it seems 99% of the time, However then they report you for refusing to communicate and threaten others which by the way based on what the GM's said on the forums is also a banable offense for that either way players who are here to seriously play the game are being suspended, warned, Time Banned due to Trolls, and the GM's of this game and community are corrupted.
They need to remove tribuanl, and go to Manual Bans/verification.
I am sure that 13 year old hears (and says) far worse daily on the playground... I remember being 13 and hearing a swear word would not have offended me in the least.
So far as not being able to say NOOB or Retard but being allowed to swear- Hmmmm, you got me. Thats a pretty blatant double standard.
As far as corrupted GMS- maybe- I dont play this game- But that very well could be the case. I have seen (personally) GM corruption in other games. Thankfully its not a very big problem with MOST MMOS IMHO- But...

The type of community that Riot Games wants is a peaceful community where people can enjoy the game, not have to listen to ping spammers, people yelling n00b, or retard some of the GM's of this game have already said it.
Cursing I really don't care much personally the F word has many different meanings for that matter so when used in a non vulgar term like I dont Fing care, or WT* or someting like this I don't see much of a problem. However in this game and community at least two of the GM's on their own forums have made it clear that such language is not tolerated in this game, however while I don't or rarely use any of these words myself as can be seen in these gaems I still manage to get suspended while really I have not broken any rules, only been falsely reported by Trolls who are seriously breaking the rules, and using toxic behavor/language in game.
What is not shown in the tribunal is the players who ping spam the map, or the players who rush into the bush as soon as the game starts and expect you to follow them, or the people who lane steal/grief when I was going mid like this victor who sucked so bad he couldn't even hold mid himself and he pretty much ruined the entire game.
But is anything done about these Trolls, and Griefers absolutely not.
I have hopes that the community in LOL will improve after showing this on their own forums, and debating in a support ticket, but I have my doubts as well. Its also obvious that the GM's don't care about the trolls. The only thing they care about in my eyes is Money, and Popularity, thats the way this game has so many people playing it, however should another game actually make itself better than LOL and actually become an alternative LOL might just die out.
Tribunal is just another joke from RIOT games.
It makes you think (and belive) people are getting banned and their account is being suspended for a while.
Time to wake up ! It's a free to play game,where you are free to make an account,you are free to troll,you are free to ruin
other people's game.And at the end what you can loose is the time you spent farming IP to buy champions and runes.
You can still make a new account , go back to the game and start trolling from the beginning.
If you guys didn't know ,people that are regulary spending money in their cash-shop are NOT getting banned and suspended.

So... there's 2 things going on:
- Trolls/flamers/grievers, which is okay to be mad about
- Bad players, which you cannot control in online matchmaking. Grow a pair and get over those

There is only one mistake they made as well they said they were reporting cait, didn't actually use a name, however I can understand their anger.
Otherwise I dont believe they deserved a ban.

The whole "im recording you", "Im muting everyone because someone screwed up or im not getting my way" routine.....why even bother to promote good community/team behavior when the leatest slight will cause a widespread team mute?...
Magnanimous is a good word to remember when you play this game.......a degree of petty resentfulness is easy to aquire because no one likes to lose, and no one wants to take responsibility for it either........and if you happen to find your account banned....perhaps its a good thing and an opportunity to attend to matters away from gaming.
For those who don't know, League of Legends uses a community judgement system called the Tribunal. If a player gets reported by other players several times, a Tribunal case is built against them and reviewed by volunteers from the LoL community. These volunteers vote to Pardon or Punish, depending on whether or not any of the chat logs contained conduct that is in violation of the game's code of conduct. The reported player receives a warning or temporary ban if the majority of the Tribunalists vote to Punish, and with their punishment they receive a link to their Tribunal case page. Repeat offenders get reviewed by Riot for the possibility of a permaban. Players are encouraged to share this link with the community if they don't agree with the decision.
There are many safeguards within the system to minimize abuse. Account names are hidden so that Tribunalists don't know who they are judging. People who falsely file reports gradually lose reporting power, as the system trusts their reports less and less. People who vote irregularly in the Tribunal (dissenting from the majority too often) also have their voting power reduced. And Riot constantly audits the system by checking cases and overturning Pardons or Punishes as necessary. Overall, they are fairly satisfied with the Tribunal's accuracy in determining a reported player's guilt. I think it's pretty fair to say that this is a lot more justice than you can expect from a standard MMO, where you could email customer service about an offensive player but have little reason to think that someone would actually look into it and take action.
For what it's worth, this guy posted his reform card to the Tribunal forum (thread here) and not one single person responding to the thread said that his actions were reasonable or that the ban was undeserved.
If you're unfamiliar with LoL terminology, what's being said in the case might not make sense. But anyone who knows the game will tell you that his teammates did nothing wrong and he had no business refusing to communicate with or cooperate with them. He calls everyone who disagrees with him a troll and mutes his entire team without cause at the drop of a hat. While doing this, he does things in-game that defy all common sense, like (Game 3) starting with no items or (Game 1) jungling as Katarina or (every game) not choosing Flash. None of these things are reportable in and of themselves, but they paint a larger picture of someone who acts in a way that they expect will upset their team, and has no intention of changing the way that they play or attempting to cooperate. That's a violation of the rules.
Like pretty much everyone who posts their reform card, he's just placing the blame on the system and refuses to take responsibility. Rather than listening to people that tell him what rules he has broken and improving his conduct, he just says that anyone who voted Punish or agrees with the verdict is a great big troll. He's one of the players who will end up getting banned for good eventually. I hope that his rant doesn't discourage anyone from playing this game.
