I'd have to say DarkFall has some of the more intense SOLO possible, so I wouldn't put it on the list. Soloing in that game is way more fun than running in zergs, at least in my opinion
Yes! FFXI is what you are looking for. Past level 8-10 you will be parting all night long grinding on mobs at XP camps. Basically play the whole game with out ever doing one quest.
No but seriously, Eve is pretty group/guild (corporation) dependent. You can do lots of stuff there alone, but it really shines when you are in a good corp.

DF doesn't rely on "inter-dependant classes", just zergs.
FFXI as someone else mentioned is pretty much forced grouping from quite early on, but the game is really old now and still pretty grindy.
