So i propose a site, for lawyers to advise EA, and what is left of Bioware, an exit strategy, the simplest one, sell the game to someone who can fix it, or shut it down, like SoE had to shut down SWG.

Goodnight....another game, giving shame to the Star Wars Saga, such an IP, should have overshadowed WoW's success...pathetic results are not acceptable.

Move along, this was not the Star Wars MMO we were looking for...

SWG had decent subs to continue

LA shut down the SWG, GL said that didnt want SW fans to argue for which SW MMO is better

So, what is the reasoning behind having a Clone Wars kids MMO then? Because of a different target audience?

There is no SW MMO set in the time of the movies, and honestly the Old Republic era feels a bit strange, yeah it´s Kotor time, but not the time of the movies which most people are familiar with. That is quite sad.

If they would be a little creative they would allow time travel and let us end up at least in some "contemporary" version of one planet, with all the guys from the movies showing up as NPCs.

Or they could simply revamp SWG and pull it out of the garbage bin and make SWG 2.0

why not giving the fans what they want as long as they pay to play?

b/c james ohlen and other incompetent idiots think that making you pay 15 bucks for kotor 3 with limited races and linear worlds is the way to be top dog. Well 2 million people disagreed. Now its going to f2p b/c james ohlens pride and EA's are to high to admit there wrong and give us the game "WE" true star wars fan not carebears idea of a star wars game. 200 mill down the drain b/c of a bad engine choice and bad development

I doubt it would do much good really. EA/BW have pretty much ignored all the feedback that was given to them during beta. I don't see how it would be different now.

You'd create false expectations more than anything else. They're not going to be pouring even more big bucks into SWTOR for doubtful returns. Cheap changes to the game, expensive to play to be the "best", that's what you can expect soon.

Making SWTOR a good MMO would just be too expensive or they'd have done it a long time ago, it's just not going to happen.

The game is dead. Let it decompose in peace.

No. As I said in the Haterz R' Us thread, there is no reason for me to visit another site outside of the official forum or this one. There are plenty of good ideas being thrown around in a place that actually has a chance of being seen by the people in charge(official forums) and there is already a place for the haters to come and get their daily dose of haterade(here).  But by all means, knock yourself out.

Your making me laugh right now, you mean it has a chance of being seen by the people in charge that have not responded very well. All the people that have left was because they gave up on EAware not responding to costumers or not agreeing with what the players have to say. So apparently throwing out good ideas are very "helpful". image

There's already a website for this. It's SWToR's website. That's the only website that has a chance of getting any ideas to the developers. They aren't going to listen to a bunch of people who do not play the game whining about what needs to be improved in the game.

Just get over it already. Move on with your lives.

I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

It would not matter anyway,  they had our feedback in beta, they had 10 months worth of feedback.  And look at what they keep doing.

So unless they will actually listen for once it will not mater.  They proved to be death this long.

Sadly, seems to me there's a consensus on the above post. Is there any hope left?

    No.

Mostly because for TOR to have any chance at a "revival" it would take the serious rewrite/redesign of one or more major game systems. And this is something EA is not willing to pay for.

So regardless of what needs to be done, if EA won't pay for it, it is irrelevant.

TOR had its shot, didn't deliever, and now it is time for any remaining fans to more on: EA has.

TOR is all it will ever be.

The point your all forgetting is the "official" people that are seeing the feedback are highly incompetent.

Lets look at this more closely

gabe ametegelo -the jar jar binks of swtor f'd up warhammer then came to swtor repeated his mistakes there. Says wildly stupid crap such as ilum  will be 100vs100 then he'd like to try 40vs40 then he'd like to try rvr then ilum is instanced to hell then lagged to hell still then shut down.

James ohlen - the forest gump of swtor. Thinks that group finder and a custom ui things common in all mmo's are a news worth announcement as new content lol. He also thinks that swtor has the best pvp team and that hes keeping the same dev team lol

Damion schubert - Thinks that legacy is swtors best feature lol. Think about that the legacy system is swtors best feature? With over 2 million people who left b/c of no end game content and buggy raids and worse things players want there focus is on legacy?

This is who your trying to give feedback to. Its like albert einstien explaining quantum mechanics to a 5 year old who just wants a shiny light stick yay!

They purposely up the slots to 12 b/c they want the game to be 99% re rolling alts.

If they havent noticed feedback in 5 years, whats to make the start noticing NOW.

Countless people gave countless suggestions, some of them were top notch ones.

Countless people pointed to the flaws of the game.

They had 5 years. Its too late now unless you thing they will put live game on hold (like SE did with FF) and fix it.

Game is "as is" and will remain "as is". If you havent noticed EA thinks the game is "awesome" and blame players for its epic failure.

So instead on concentrating on FIXING it and funnel all their resources to THAT, nope, they funnel it to EXPNADED FREE TRIALCONVERSION and more MARKETING.

People got tired of years of feedback that resulted in absolutely -nothing.
