    Myself

CPU: AMD Phenom II 980 [Black] (quad core)

GPU: 6950 HD AMD [1gb] (Gigabyte)

    Motherboard: 970A-UD3 (Gigabyte)

    Memory: 16 gigs of ddr3 1600mhz

I don't have a cd or dvd drive.  I install everything via usb.  I was thinking about getting a laptop just in case I had something on a CD I needed to get.

HDD:  I have a 500g western digital, and a 60gb SSD (corsair).  The last SSD I had failed in about 8 months, but the seagate baraccuda I bought lasted about 4 years.  That's unheard of.  It actually wasn't bad at all.  I just replaced it because I didn't want to deal with having to replace it later.  Instead of jumping on the terabyte bandwagon, I am going to stick with lower storage space for now.  When I get the money, I am going to get a storage server for my house.  From there I can store all my crap, and run websites and ventrilo / mumble servers from there.

I run x2 asus monitors at 1920x1080.   Two is great, but three is best.  I only have one graphics card though, and I didn't want to stress my card with a x3 setup.

Now that you mention it, there is a definite resemblance to the Dragon Rider case.  Yours looks cooler than a standard Dragon Rider case, though.

Built a new system for my wife's Creative Suite/Photoshop hobby.  Originally we were going to forgo any real gaming capability but in the end we decided if we were going to build a new system we might as well do it proper.  The case was chosen because my wife wishes to paint it at a later date and thus a "blank canvas" was important.  Anyway here it is:

    Mobo: Gigabyte Z77 Sniper-1 M3 (mATX)

    CPU: Intel i5-3570K

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master EVO 212

RAM: 16Gb DDR3 1600 Mhz Corsair Vengence Low Profile

GPU: Asus GTX 680 2GB DirectCU II OC edition (chosen over AMD 7970 GHz because temps/acoustics/power matters to us)

PSU: Seasonic M12 II 80 Bronze 620 Watt

    SSD: Samsung 830 Sata 3 128GB

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB

Case: Silverstone Precision Series 07 White

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate (already owned retail version, planning on upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate)

    Prebuild:

You should be warned that Vista will mishandle SSDs.  I don't recall the details off hand, but if the upgrade to a newer version of Windows isn't coming soon, you might want to read up on it.

    8GB RAM

    2 x ATI 6850s

    Win 7 x64

Looked around a bit and while there were various things listed this topic seemed to be the most common...

Is what you are referring to and if not could you elaborate a bit so I can narrow my search?  The reason I ask is because at this point if there isn't a NEED to pay for the upgrade my wife and I are perfectly fine with the perfomance she has under Vista.  We can of course upgrade as originally intended but unless there is a specific reason (currently, not something which has since been addressed and remedied) I don't see us throwing away money for little gain over a perfomance level we are happy with.

Props on the wolfking warrior pad. When I heard they were going out of business I bought 20 of the wolfking timberwolf keyboards and 10 warrior pads lol. Such a perfect design for gaming and no one else seems willing to do it.

Pair it with a razer Naga and man is it a sweet setup lol.
