Anyone have suggestions for the case and everything else overall? First time building so I'm not sure if everything is good
Are tehre any ways to make this build cheaper without sacrificing that much performance?

The GeForce GTX 660 Ti is a rather dumb card. Or rather, not so much a bad card as merely way overpriced. A Radeon HD 7870 or GeForce GTX 660 (without the Ti) aren't that much slower, but they're sure a lot cheaper.
This is likely the best option in the price range that you should be shopping on your budget:

Or if you're willing to pay a little more to get a little less performance with an Nvidia sticker on it:

Saving money on the video card frees up money to spend elsewhere on your budget. For starters, you should get a better power supply. Basiq is Antec's bottom of the line, and while it's not terrible, it's not that good, either. You'd only need to add another $9.50 to get something markedly better:

Or you could spring for something higher end like this:

There are cheaper options for an optical drive, like this:

It's more efficient to spring for a better processor, and then make up the difference with a combo deal on the motherboard:

That's only $2 more than what you picked before rebate, and has a $15 rebate, too.
A WD Caviar Black used to be a nice option, back when SSDs were really expensive. But today, SSDs are a lot cheaper, and if you don't need a ton of capacity, then you might prefer a good SSD together with a cheap hard drive. Depending on how much storage capacity you need, an SSD alone might have plenty for you:

If you need more capacity than that, then you could grab a cheaper hard drive as well, as the speed of the hard drive doesn't matter much if you're putting everything where speed matters on the SSD.

If you're not sure how much capacity you need, then it's easy to add another drive later.
thanksfor such a great response! i appreciate the time you took to help me out
Yeah I need an Nvidia card because Darkfall works well with it and not AMD (its a huge difference)
I'm building this for Darkfall Unholy wars which is releasing in november(potentially) and who knows if it will still have bad supprot for AMD based cards
I'll take the time to look through your post in a bit - extremely busy atm so thanks a bunch again for saving me so much time!
This is what I got:

All I need now is a monitor and case
You could also go with a matx mobo with a silverstone case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163182, it would be cheaper and not that much in performance loss.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
How much do you have left? I recently bought a new computer and got one from the coolmaster coolmaster HAF X range. As for monitors have a look at some of what Asus has to offer since the one I have works great.
PS don't make the same mistake I did and forget to get a OS since the windows 7 version I had was a OEM.
That's $48 more expensive than the case he linked before. It's not a way to save money.
I got the build up and running
i5 3570k
That Gigabyte motherboard
8gb ram
660 GTX
128gb SSD (samsung)
1TB HDD (seagate)
CPU cooler for overclocking (cooler master)
550W psu (rosewill)
Then a 24 inch monitor is coming too I'm so satisfied with my build
