World of Tanks: Next Update to Feature British Tanks

Wargaming.net has announced that the next World of Tanks update, v8.1, will include both light and medium tanks from the British line used in WWII. Update 8.1 will also introduce an overhauled rendering and lighting system on five more battle arenas.

"The Brits invented the first tank, pioneering the evolution of the whole industry, and it's an honor for us to greet them in World of Tanks. They are so close, you can hear their tracks rolling!" said Mike Zhivets, World of Tanks Producer. "Their looks are as daunting as their guns, and I'm sure the Brits will make great competitors to other nations in World of Tanks."

    If you guys haven't seen the physics update yet from their last update about maybe 2 weeks ago, WOT got 100% better... Check it out now!

    no :) Matilda and Matilda II is a well armored ones :) just like Churchill, but the main problem is the gun :P

    At least the Devs here they know history, not like microsoft that messing everything without knoiwn anything at all (see age of empires)
    fan of SWG, XCOM, Defiance, Global Agenda, Need For Speed, all Star Wars single player games. And waiting the darn STAR CITIZEN

    having played WoT using the 8.0 patch.. im still confused why they only gave the black prince tank (gold) to brits to start with.. why not just give them the val, church and normal matilda its not like the tanks changed very much when given to the russians :/ 

    so honestly most of the main tanks the brits used are already ingame on the yank and russian tree :/  sherman firefly is simply a sherman with a larger gun... why do they prolong giving the brits their tanks?? @_@

    Well as bad as US tanks were, the British ones were worse.  Rommel used to make fun of them.  If he didn't have such poor supply lines North Africa would have been over long before we entered the war.

    i LOVE British tanks. Especially the Crusader tank.
