Hyung-Tae Kim brings with him a very recognizable and risqué anime style that, combined with the game's deep storyline and modern martial arts style combat, delivers a game experience like no other. Due to ESRB guidelines, however, our marketing material must abide by a different set of considerations than the final product. This is why Blade & Soul's rating is listed as "pending." It is NCsoft West's intention to accurately depict the game in its original, unaltered form, with only minor adjustments for gameplay considerations. In short: We are not planning to censor or alter the actual in-game content you have come to expect from an artist such as Hyung-Tae Kim and a studio such as Team Bloodlust. Rest assured that we love Blade & Soul as much as you do, and any modifications to the marketing material are not indicative of our plans for the final content. We appreciate your concern, and we hope that we've helped set your minds at ease. You can notice the wierd swimsuit on a bikini armor model and this alerted the fans.

western people are the worst, and im coming from the west, they complain about pretty graphics, sexy armor, chicks being to hot, and these are the males...
they bitch about everything when its a freakin game and art.. i realy dont get it, they are starting to even complain about sexy superheros and thats why dc put pants on wonder women.. the fuck is wrong with america, and its pussification and overun by male feminist.
It's not about male feminists, it's about character models. Boobs only dilute the character as a whole. Gigantic boobs take peoples attention away from the face of the character, making it just another model in the game. Almost every last character looks the same.
Same goes for women's armour. Huge breasts often mean that the armour has to be skin tight to avoid any clipping so it looks painted on. And that's assuming that they are actually wearing full armour and not some sort of magical bikini. These are all things that are counterproductive. People do not want their characters to look like prostitutes when they're high level. They want them to look strong and cool with unique armour sets. Having a slightly different and slightly thinner bikini doesn't create that sense of power.
Of course, some people like the oversized breasts. But most of those people have the mental capacity of a twelve year old. I think that the comment I heard the most here when those scarlet blade ads were running here was "I would have loved this game when I was twelve".
good.... actually very good. If they censor it, i will not play it.
If they censor it in America, they better allow me to log in on Korean server because i will not waste my money on games where the companies see American gamers as little defenceless girls that cant be exposed to anime g-strings and boobs with swords.
Hyung Tae Kim is an amazing artist and his work is Art, from every angle. We should be able to appreciate his unaltered designs, specially when money exchange hands. Give us the original or give us nothing.

Its not western culture its forum crybaby's who yet to see a female body in rl.... Talk to the average jo and they actually like seeing chicks dressed sexy =P NC soft is a crappy company so I dont have much faith in this game. It looks very similar to all the asian ftp games being released. But in any case im sure the gold bots will renew their contracts with ncSoft =P
So why is it then rated in the top 10 most played games in Korea????? Its gotta be doing something right...
They are also not planning to release this game to NA
The US site hasn't been updated in nearly a year, their last post was 05 Dec
