DF:UW is already "very playable" but....

....still no gameplay video 5 days after the announcement and less than 2 months 'til launch.

Go figure.

    I don't imagine it'll be any more or less buggy than most multi million dollar MMO's that are released, it wouldn't be hard anyway.

    The bugginess, or lack thereof, of DF:UW was hardly my point.

    I was referring more to its actual existence.

    They should have done an actual beta for UW to properly test all the new features.

     Av took monthsd to put out a small video for DF1  when it was already very playable. Don't expect them to change now do you?

    Its probably also worth mentioned how many times they pushed back the releaase of DF1.

     No, no you don't understand. just like with DF1 the game has been extensively beta tested with their in house AI, and paid professional beta testers. they don't need a open beta they certainly didn't need one with DF1 and that one released just great!

    Just keep posting over and over:  DF is vaporware, DF is vaporware until your fingers bleed.

    It didn't work well for you the first time. Maybe you have a chance to FINALLY be right the second time around.

    We need to start thinking of MMO's as we do music or literature or the movies. There is not one MMO or one game that will be universally satisfactory to everyone's taste. MMO's don't come in one genre just as books or music doesn't come in one genre. Change and innovation is a good thing in the MMO industry just as it is in literature and music, but every MMO doesn't need to push the envelope or be cutting edge to be "good" or fun. It just needs to be good. The same is true for music. The same is true for books or for movies. Music evolves. MMO's evolve. Storytelling evolves. And in doing so, it doesn't make obsolete or not enjoyable everything that's been done before.

    Yeah it is probably vaporware because after a few days after the announcement their investors havn't given them the green light to post in-game vids.

    100% vaporware.

    It is the weekend, how about wait till monday? The released some info everyday about the game, nothing substancial but still communcated nonetheless.

    People...this is the Darkfall thats been out since 2009 only with some changed systems and new graphical effects.

    Game has been in beta since 2009.

    This is kind of true, they should have some short beta anyway tho with so many changes to the game

    Just wait. Im quite sure they'll cover most of the new features with spotlights during these 2 months.. or you'll be able to check it with your own eyes in two months anyway :D

    The whole point of my comment was to express severe doubt that we'll see this game in 2 months.

     Darkfall was hardly "very" playable when it released, in fact it was barely playable. 

    They can show all the videa they want, it doesnt' say a thing about how playable the game will be when it launches. 

    Or are people just convenietly forgetting how bad the game performed when it released?

    Not impatient.  Sceptical.  I couldn't care less when it comes out.  I just don't like being lied to, and all indicators are pointing to the fact that we're being lied to.

    Thousands of players managed to play it at launch. Thousands of players continued to play it after launch. Thousands of players still play it. If it wasn't to your liking then or now, that is on you, not the game. Personally I enjoyed the ruggedness of the game at launch.
