How do you feel about the game, the good the bad what might come?

For me I still enjoy the game, I don't rush but the game seem to rush on me via leveling is somewhat increased after lvl 40 despite anet 1-2 takes as long as 79-80.

Besides that I still having a blast playing the game.

How about you guys?

    Still having a blast.

Max toon is 55, so a whole lot left to do and see.

I had sooo much fun for the first 3 weeks. As I type I just logged in looking for a reason to keep going. I'm 55 now.  I logged into the mists. I was sitting there wondering why the hell can't I ware these pvp skins I crafted in the real game world? Then I alt-tabbed and saw this.

I think I may take a break for a while.

I was happily trying to complete 100% exploration but ran into bugged skill points that stay bugged for days.  I also realized that I need to explore all four WvW maps even though three of them are identical.

WvWvW is OK but I'd need to improve my graphics card to enjoy it more.  I'm not a fan of the zerg thing anyway.

I've only run one instance and it was the level 30 story mode.  I didn't enjoy it at all.

    I haven't tried sPVP yet.

haven't even hit 40 with any character yet having a BLAST.. just started to get into sPVP a bit more with my mesmer and loving it.. my friends do tourny's all the time so I try to jump in when I can. /age sitting at 140 hours have hardly scratched the surface so far.

I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. Honestly, I don't get to play it as much as I wish I could. I'm having a blast when i'm in game, but it seems like all my friends cars keep having problems, and who do they call? Oh their bestest buddy in da whole wide world.

Seriously though, I got my Necro level 65, my Rifleer (rilfe warrior) level 20ish, and i'm having a blast with the 2 different play styles, the world is immersive, WvW is fun, not what i'd wanted, but there is still room to grow, once I hit level cap and my guildies do and we start running vent small mans communicating more, we should be able to do a lot better.

The PvE is the funnest experience i've had in a very long time, some challenge, some easy, some thought provoking, it's a good mix, but it isn't too much.

Next week should be a good gaming week for me :) This week, i'm hoping just to log in and say hey to the guildies :(

Still too early to say "yup, this one has me for years", but it's also to early to put it down.

I have altitis a 21, 20, 17 and 16. So I still have plenty left to see and do. I really like that they at least have different starting zones for each race making the initial leveling experience varied. I assume it combines down at later levels but hopefully there are at least two lvling paths to max lvl.

Still having a lot of fun too, Max character is 45 (mesmer) which i'm finally starting to master :)

Still marveling a little on how much work has gone into it all.

Levels 33 (guardian) and 11 (mesmer) here, so still lots to do, and still having a blast playing the game, and while I had a lot of fun on WvW during the beta weekends, still haven't touched it since I haven't felt short of things to do on PvE yet.

What can men do against such reckless hate?

Think I'm level 52 or 53 on my thief and probably at 60+ hours on this toon.  Just loving this game to death.  At level 45'ish I went and spent a gold to up my trait allocation and it reset all of my traits.  I used to have my traits spread to every part but this time I focused on a build suitable to my playstyle, yet was synergistic.

So now, my character feels 100 times more powerful.

I can feel it getting stale. Will probably make it my secondary game and make vanguard my main.

Level 80 complete set of crafted yellows. Starting to lose motivation to log in. I really don't care about getting 100% map completion. May do explorable dungeons and tournies on occasion with friends. Feels like the game is done for the most part. Back to consoles and real life until the next wave of MMOs hit.

so far so good for me, max toon is 54 or 55. Did a small anount of WvW and the smaller PvP maps. Just enough to know I will enjoy it when PvE gets stale. Stil alot of the map to see, crafrting to max, and other professions to level. I am reallt taking my time to stop and smell the roses along the way with this one

    I miss DAoC

At Level 26, just popping in on whenever I have the time, roam around and kill or gather. Still fun though.
  • rykim86rykim86 Member Posts: 236

Haven't played a MMO like this since FFXI NA launch.

Taking my time, exploring the world, trying out different professions and crafts, story lines, dungeons, helping friends, WvW/PvP....lots to do.  I have over 100hours played and have yet to hit 80.

The content updates leading up to expansions will be interesting for sure.

It's likely a combination of many things.  Being in a pug with people around lvl 30 didn't help.  I'm sure if it was a more organized group things would have been better.  I was just expecting a fun intro level dungeon and not being in the downed state or LOS the boss as much as occurred.  I think the first dungeon experience should be enjoyable and not much of a challenge.

Been playing for a week and a half now off and on. Got the 1st area stuff completed, but (IMO) feels repetative and somwhat shallow. Im finding it hard to log in. Maybe I will tonight.

I dont know if it's challenge or learning to play in a different way. But I definatly know what you mean.

Level 80. 400 Armor/Weapon smith. 82 percent map completion. I'm working on 100 percent map atm, but have a lot of zones on hold with 1-3 SPs bugged, and 1 bugged vista (catapult).

Rarely ever log in anymore. Just not really any reason to.  It's a nice game to have if I get bored playing other games though, can log in and knock out some pvp or w/e in a quick session and be done with it.

I'm having a lot of fun. Which is weird usually by the end of the first month with new MMO's I'm not still playing all the time. But I still look forward to the time I have after work every day to play guild wars 2. It's very fun to me still.
  • LetsinodLetsinod Member UncommonPosts: 385
Dunno.  I don't see what the hype was about.  If this is next-gen then I think I will just have to hang up my hat soon enough.  Instances galore, the DE's are just as repetitive as any other quests, crafting is shallow, and the combat and UI are horrid.  Its fun as a pick me up game once in a moon but if it was a sub game I would have dropped it already.

I'm level 80 and today I was helping my GF in some personal story missions,

She fall a bit behind in levels, she is lvl 67, and she really is behind her story, like 33 or so.

Anyway she was feeling tired but we only missed a couple of events to get the daily achievement.

A norn dude was asking for dwarven artifacts (dwarfs went the way of the dodo in the original GW1). I had actuallly done that event on my own early but went and did it again.

This time I decided to follow the dude, so I followed him to his hut, where he dropped the box with artifacts.

Not long after a charr comes around and they start to chit chat about the artifacts and the charr inspect them. he says one of them isn't of deldrimor (good dwarfs) origin but stone summit (evil dwarfs) instead.

Meanwhile some pirates (there is tons in the area) arrived, wanting to claim the artifacts. battle ensues with pirate defeat.

An asura couple (apparently they run some delivery service since their lab blew up) and their dolyak arrive to take the artifacts to some other norn dude (not sure where he fits in the story, was to tired to read).

So escort event. Once we arrive, the asuran tells the norn he feel that one of the artifacts is malefic and might be hard to dispose of. The norn convinces the male asuran to help him despite the reluctance of the female asuran.

Big giant demon imp dude is summoned from the artifact.

All this happened naturaly with no interaction from the players other than jumpin in the action.

Yeah, GW2 is great and whoever says GW2 is just like all the other themeparks MMOs is wrong.

    Currently playing: GW2
Going cardboard starter kit: Ticket to ride, Pandemic, Carcassonne, Dominion, 7 Wonders

And what sort of gameplay did this "event" inspire? An escort, a kill 10 pirates, a kill the boss at the end. For some of us, presentation isn't enough.
