I've been wondering about how we get our stars and title for some time now.
I've joined the forum since 2008 and i've only posted 60 posts and I've gotten 4 stars and the hardcore member title. I also have seen other people that posted well over 2000 posts and only got 1 star with novice member title. Why is that? Is there a re-set thing?

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
Post frequency + post quality (which isn't actual quality, it's based more on length) = forum stars. I think being bad and getting mod edited and warned reduces stars. Not saying from personal experience or anything *cough*
Basically it means very little.
Now with 57.3% more flames!
