reminder to anyone who did not buy a digital copy

you should have gotten an email that said this

 

Don’t Forget to Pick Up Your Guild Wars 2 Box to Continue Playing
 

Guild Wars 2 officially launches on August 28, 2012.

As a Pre-Purchase customer, you will need to return to the retailer where you made your pre-purchase with receipt in order to receive your retail box and serial code. In order to continue playing without interruption, you will need to apply this retail serial code to your Guild Wars 2 account within FIVE DAYS of launch.

    i bought from a retailer not from the official site. i'm playing since bwe1. do i have to?

    if you did not buy a digital copy of GW2 and have been playing in BWEs

    your GW2 access will expire today - unless you use the box gamekey

    yeah i bought my digital deluxe from best buy on aug 9th and i only got  one code which now i cant access game very annoying.

    I think this is what happened to me: http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/363638/Am-I-hacked.html. My problem is then I can't find the place to update the CD key in my account page over at the official web site. Does anyone know how?

    well i just checked it is "standard edition pre-purchase"?

    Amazon uk ripped me off for a pre purcase box, £42 and they sent me a normal edition box.

    That is just for US players. Europeans who pre purchased dont need to for some weird reason.
