I am leaning toward Guardian right now, but I'm still undecided. I tried them all for 10-15 levels each in the BWEs, and literally liked ALL of them.
At first I did NOT like the engineer or warrior, but I realized those were the first two that I tried, so maybe it was just that I didn't know what I was doing when I played them. I went back and tried them both again through the two recent stress tests...and sure enough, I do enjoy them both now that I understand the game.
...Long story short, I voted guardian, but I will probably spend the first few weeks after release doing some alt-hopping until one character "sticks" more than the others. Not a big deal for me, as I am an altoholic in MMOs anyway, so eventually I probably WILL play through the game with one of each class, like I do for every RPG that I enjoy (MMO or otherwise).
Gonna be engineer first. Not sure why, it's just calling to me, even though I had a blast playing Mesmer, Elementalist and Warrior in the BWEs. I plan to have one of everything but to start, those are my top 4.
Ranger for me. I just like the way the class plays and I like collecting pets, so that will be fun running around finding them. I'll most likely roll an Elementalist for my second and really haven't thought much after that....
Though, rifle Warrior might be cool at some point to do....
Think I'm going to develop a couple characters and see which one sticks before I can say what my main will be. I like to many classes and most of the races so I just can't decide. It will come down to which one I grow most attached to...
I'm so torn between a guardian and an engineer... it's like the hardest decision of my life! I can't decide! (I dont like to play alts so I need to pick just one...)
