DX11 and cutscene issues

Not sure if anyone else here is having similar issues with this game, or any other game, and might be able to recomment a fix, but here goes.
Rig:
i7 930 OC to 3.7 GHz
12.0 GB Ram
ATI HD5970
Can run the game with eyefinity, res at 5760 by 1080 on Ultra and get around 30 - 40 FPS, except I get around 5 fps during cutscenes.
reduced settings to absolute lowest and gameplay goes well over 100 fps, but cutscenes still will not exceed 5 fps...choppy as hell and unwatchable.
Now, in the interest of testing, switched from DX11 to DX9. Under DX9, cutscenes work fine, regardless of GFX settings. Max settings, np, awesome FPS.
So, if would seem, that DX11 is the issue. TBH. i do not remember if I had similar problems with AoC, cuz i didn't play it much anymore once DX11 was supported. A lot of other forums for similar issues on other games seem to revolve around the use of Depth of Field, however, tehre is no direct means to disable this in TSW.
There is a thread for this on TSW official forums, but they have disabled new registration, so i cannot post?! Kinda shifty....
So, anyone have experience with this type of issue? know a work-around that would allow DX11 and its adv setttings? etc? Thanks in advance for your time and expereince.

They have been very good with support for me, so you should at least get an official answer to your questions. Not being able to play in dx11 with that gfx card would be "/&#" as it looks really good with tesselation
That's the mind-blowing part. I actually get a better in-game framerate with DX11 than DX9, when all other available settings are equal. Like 50fps In DX9 vs 78 FPS in DX11 while standing in the exact same place. Moreover, the DX11 version is also running SSAO and tesselation.....go figure....it's just the cutscenes that go to hell, averaging probably 5FPS.
Btw, the official forms have disabled all new account registration. You cannot post until they change that.pfft. Like you said, who wants to miss out on tesselation and AO.

I had the same issue during beta, as well as causing overheating issues on my video card(in-game no problem, cutscene only caused the issue). I have crappy ventilation atm on my PC since a few of the side fans went out, and been using a box fan since. Never had a problem with overheating till the cutscenes in this game(or FPS). I posted it on the forums, and talked to support the issue was unresolved which stopped me from purchasing the game. I will try again when a trial comes out or when I get a new PC.
